They have put ticket barriers in the main lobby,Its liek the London underground where you have to swipe your ticket before going to the platform.Seeing they be a load of Forest fans heading to Derby do you think the British Transport police will let them go straight on the train without tickets to avoid congestion so they can stick us on one train and get to Derby all together. In the past apparently the Police just packed the train with Forest supporters so they can keep an eye on them.

so are you asking if you'll be able to get the train without a ticket then?

I dont mind paying for a train ticket but its going to take a long time to get hundreds of Football fans through a few gates.

It'll take longer, I'll give you that, but think about how busy Baker Street barriers get during rush hour. People will get through.

I wouldn't worry too much, I think about 3 million journeys are made every day on the London tube and they all have the ticket barriers, admittedly from 100+ locations. But as a general rule, the police/authorities will increase the obstacles in the way of football fans rather than reduce them.

The last way on earth I'd go to Derby is on the train. I will not be treated like a farm animal and be the focus for every half-wit sheep waiting for us in Derby. Car.!!!!

Our bus plan last season worked quite well I thought :) Might have to revisit that!

Only really worked well due to it being an evening KO, for the game that was on the Sun lunchtime beers (and a free breakfast) in Stabbo early doors then a taxi until the A52 comes to a standstill then short walk to No-pride Park from there worked very very well
