Dean Windass to us on loan?

First Team Squad
Just heard that Dean Windass is unhappy at not being played in last 2 oldham games so will be returning to hull.
also heard he turned down 3 championship clubs to go to oldham.
some hull fan think he coming to us on loan. i cant see him getting played everygame with the strikers we have tho.
what do you think?

The reason he's left Oldham is because he wasn't getting played - 2 minutes in 2 matches I think it was. I can't see him coming here to possibly come off the bench and he hasn't got the legs to play a full part in matches

Think this one is a non starter tbh ... just watch Forest prove me wrong yet again

I think he'd be too experienced and probably be at the other side of Forests age spectrum, probably unbalancing the team.

Don't think there's anything in this and thankfully so, we've not had much luck when players have been signed for their experience. Andrew Cole and Neil Lennon anyone?

Still got love for the guy though.

When he played for Middlesborough, I was obsessed with yahoo fantasy sports. I used some spare points the guy after a ridiculously expensive spending spree. He ended up scoring!

Great times.

Can Capello please come and kill this one before we think it's gonna happen :)

He did keep a clean sheet in goal against Leicester for 40 minutes, so I'm sure those that don't rate Smith would love him here!

2+2=5 in papers he is unhappy so must e coming to us. Just the small matter of a loan agreement with Oldham to end of season..........can you really see him keeping out Tyson, Earnshaw or McSheffrey?

Not gonna lie, I'd love to see it.

I've always admired him, probably because he always scores against us. One of those players, a bit like Michael Brown, who was always a bugger to play against, yet you'd love them in your side.

Having said that though, with a full compliment of fit strikers now, there's no room for him if he wants first team football. Definitly missed his chance in January if true that we wanted him. Would probably be a bit like when David Johnson went to Sheff Utd anyway, Warnock clearly just wanted him in a Sheff Utd shirt after he reguarly raped his team the previous season, but he never really played and did nothing.
