I have never seen such a shambles in what we have at our beloved football club.

Surely we would release news of signings before telling the world that we are selling people. i know Perchy aint much cop but FFS, seeing as though we have just gone general sale for season tickets, you waould have thought it would be common sense.

I dunno, you'd think the way some people went on about Perch that selling him would shift hundreds of season tickets. Look at it that way, and its another marketing master stroke from MArthur.

Saturday was a prime example, the "sale of the century" was an absolute joke from start to finish. Queuing for over an hour to get in to what may have resembled a Marmaris market day, one security guard working on a one out one in basis, customers not knowing which was the queue for ST's and which was the queue for the sale, no staff on hand to direct folk, or signs for that matter, the queue for the sale being that big that potential customers turned round and didn't even bother joining the back of it, the venue for the sale being an absolute joke, far too small, why did they not have it in the car park, and maybe make an open day sort of event out of it?

More rants about Saturday - a senior steward turned up at 12.00 noon, 15 minutes after the club rang him, because they decided they couldn't cope with the number of people, people randomly helping themselves to stuff without paying (a couple of people saw this happen), the clothing was just awful - 4XL and small boys isn't the majority of our fan base, and some of the stuff that was coming out in boxes was rubbish they couldn't sell from 5 years ago, and other than the framed pictures and some of the watches and cufflinks the non clothing stuff was dire.

I later found out after that MSR Newsgroup were contacted by the club 3 weeks ago and were offered all of the decent stuff in bulk and at a massive discounted price, so much so that they are now selling the decent stuff in their shops with the original NFFC price tags still on - so much for the club putting the fans first!

Wow, glad I didn't bother with that. Then again, I did go to Middlesbrough, which is way worse than queuing over Trent Bridge for crap Forest merch.

In the past speaking to individuals at the club, their policy was always releasing information concerning transfers only once the deal was finalised. This was to prevent disappointment and possible annoyance to the fans, if the deal fell through at the last moment. The club have learnt many lessons from previous 'faux pas' , and try to avoid them by only publishing relevant facts. Thus rumours, gossip or speculation are usually not found on the news section of the official website, only in 'fans forum'.

BTW if you want speculation or gossip about players, the NEP is a perfect place to start. Whether it's true and comes from a reliable source thats another matter. Ummmm that reminds me the Daily Star and NEP are soft, strong and very absorbent...... Only problem is the print .................
