I agree with his sentiment and what he is saying but I would have more faith had I not read the part in the article that says:-
"We will gather information and make some phone calls. We will then put it to the transfer acquisitions committee and see what happens."
That seems to have scuppered Billy's plans once again then!!!

Interesting that he says he is going to make his lists and make some phone calls and then take it to the panel.
Sounds like he is going to negotiate the price 1st and then approach the panel saying "we can have this player for this much" rather than hand over a list of names.

Very sad for Bodde. He's an awesome player but has been blighted by his knee troubles.
I was told earlier today that we are going to sign David Murphy from Brum on loan for the remainder of the season, apparentley he's just coming back from injury and Mcleish wants him to go on loan to get some match time. If true would be a good signing and obviously solve our problem LB positon IMO.

BD said quite clearly that there was no point in signing a player who had not played for months so that would rule out Bouma and Murphy.
