Re: Billy on Sky Sports

The fact that Billy feels he needs to go on the media 'to put the record straight' is down to him. If it was a regular necessity amongst all managers, why doesn't it happen all the time? Simple - he just can't help scratching the sore. Shut up Billy.

I'm beginning to wish he'd just leave. I'm getting bored of the moaning now. Regardless of their outlook, you have to put up with your bosses and work with them. That means not crying to the media every time.

What did he say?

What annoys me is that he always talks about his contract length, and that he is willing to honour that - as if he's only here because he wants to do the honourable thing and stick it out as he agreed to do so 18 months ago.

Not once have I heard him say that he enjoys being the manager of Forest, that he enjoys his job and wants to stay.

I wish a reporter would ask him if would renew his contract if it expired tomorrow, although I know he wouldnt give a straight answer. Probably something about recommending and advising.

I'll just confuse everyone and merge them!

To be fair to Billy Davies - If it wasn't for people posting on the internet that player 'x' is signing tomorrow/already then it wouldn't lead to more people saying that because player 'x' wasn't announced the TAP and Billy are at loggerheads and he's going to quit.

If we all stopped speculating he might not feel the need to say anything.

This.

Although, having said that, I have it on good authority from an unknown source that Pratley, Shorey, Whittingham, Danns, Beckham, Tevez, Danns and Van Nostrilboy are joining within the next 64 hours. If this happens, the AP is the greatest collection of heroes and geniuses since the Jedi council. If it doesn't happen, the AP are all the descendents of the Nazi's from 'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade', and Billy will storm out, become manager of both Derby and Leicester, and become the first manager to lead two teams to promotion simultaneously.
