In his post-match interview, Billy said that not only had we made bids, negotiations are ongoing and anyone coming in will depend on how realistic clubs are about player values and he is hopeful to have added to the squad by Monday night.

He did make it clear, though, that he won't buy for buying's sake.

I think we'll sign at least one player permanently, with another couple coming in on loan.

Couldn't find anywhere else to put this, but we apparently tried and failed to get Jordan Henderson on loan.

I doubt this as we have been looking for experience and an 18-year-old doesn't really fit the bill.
