I'd agree with this too, though I'd add I'll even save my definitive opinion until I see anyone playing for us. Many players have been awful for others and great for us, and vice versa.

Talk of it being a loan with obligation. Makes sense to do it like that so it gives us more space to use the £110m plus we are likely to get from the Anderson sale.
He's obviously not had the greatest season but the past 5 seasons his goal records are 7, 8, 7, 4, 8. That is something we miss from Midfield. Goals.

This seems more like it, if true. If we commit big money on proven quality, then we expect someone who can compete immediately for the first team. We did that with MGW and look at the result. If it seems like a bargain (e.g., Netz) then there’s nothing to lose and everything to gain (potentially). If it’s a big risk (as so many of the comments on here would suggest) that we really ought to proceed with caution.

I'll add to that add - I like to make my mind up after a few outings in the Garibaldi rather than a debut or a few rushed cameos here and there.
That's been so ever since the debut of Nigel Clough. Those who remember will know what I mean. Suffice to say, he looked like he'd got a run out to stop Barbara nagging Brian.

I'm a closet inter fan, have been for years and follow them very closely. I've seen him plenty and the fact that everyone else that's seen him is saying the same as me should give you an inkling he might not be a good fit for us

I'm going to go out on a bit of limb here's one who has seen him play a decent amount, both when he initially came through at Roma and then since having moved to Sassuolo and then Inter, having gone there because he was excellent for the green snakes (so joined the blue ones).
I don't know what you think @Huxley, but all this talk of the likes of Freuler and Ndoye not being able to adjust to the Premier League, there is a part of me that wonders if Frattesi is the exact opposite. What I mean by that is the thought that he isn't a Serie A player, with that being a big part of why he looks so uninspiring for Inter. I kind of think he's developed into much more of a Premier League player. He's a passion and intensity player more than a technical one, and that often produces less results in Italy than here.. I just wonder whether he could have a real chance of breaking out of his Inter slumber by coming here and turn out to be a fantastic player in our league, I certainly don't think it's out of the question.
I will grant that I don't think Inter are in any bargaining position to want a fee of €30m, paying that feels a bit daft, and I'm not 100% convinced on this such that I'm desperate to buy him, but I would be interested to see if this lad might thrive here and get his career back on track.

There's always a chance. The two leagues are so different it's hardly a shock that the kind of player who works in one might not work in the other, and lets face it, we love a passion player here.

Just a phrase, Forest are my team since birth due to family, but I've followed inter since the days of gazetta on C4 in the 90's
Just to cap off where I am, I've never seen Frattesi run a midfield or be anywhere near the main man at Inter, he's dining out on the Barcelona winner a bit, if we are to replace Anderson and also progress upwards there are much better punts out there, imo
A loan with option would be sensible, but £25-30m is a big risk

I've probably seen him 5 or 6 times at the most over his entire career. It's a small sample size but nothing I've seen has ever made me give him a second thought. In fact the onto thing I really remember thinking was that he looked very slow across the pitch.
