Has anyone actually seen him play.
Yes, lots. I'm not seeing any reason why we are chasing him apart from he's not a bad finisher, he's fallen way down the pecking order at Inter. Smacks of won the league must be good, there are far better options out there imo

I don't get why we'd be dropping so much money on a player who isn't a first teamer and his club seemingly don't want. Surely we should be able to structure the deal to suit better. Maybe a loan with option. All seems a bit odd.

I know what you're saying, Ray, but if they did want to keep him, we'd all be happier but inter would be asking 20m more. EA wasn't in the first team either.

I'm not sold on him myself, but we've done well targeting players whose teams don't mind letting go of them.

Has anyone actually seen him play. Because I haven’t. If he joins us he gets my full support.
Many many times. The last one was against Norway at the San siro. I hadn't realised he was on the pitch for most of it.

All the Inter fans I know think it's hilarious they're potentially getting so much for him.

Watched a few highlight reels and looks more like a MGW than an Anderson - plenty of passion and energy, winder if he might work well in a high tempo team rather than the more static Italian leagues .... but truly who knows and £25m does seem too high

this is a weird one. He's just had a poor season, Inter fans don't seem to rate him, and Inter as a club don't seem to want him, so why we'd pay that much is odd.
This is a recruitment team (refuse to blame everything on Edu) that signed off a combined £125m+ for Bakwa, McAtee, Ndoye and Hutchinson, as well as apparently going back in for Engels around the £20-30m range back in January. With them anything is possible it seems.

I shudder to think what damage could be done with the Anderson money.

But they also signed Anderson, Williams, Murillo, Awoniyi, Sels, Sangare, CHO, Elanga, Danilo, Milenkovic, Aina, Domingurez, Jesus etc.

(not including MGW and Wood because they are largely attributed to Cooper)

I read somewhere that less than 50% of transfers are a success. As an Americans would say we are batting above average I reckon.

Can only pray we don't do what West Ham did with the Rice money.

Can't fault the irony.
We're not talking double figures here, he crops up with the odd goal in a team that mostly dominates.

Simply put as I've stated before there is one question to ask-does he elevate the team in the position he plays? The answer is no imo

There seems to be a theme here... in general the more we spend on a player the less impact they've had.

Do you have an opinion then?
I have loads mate, but in terms of footballers I generally don't form one based on never seeing someone play with my own eyes (and preferably more than once if possible), and certainly not from others forming theirs on the evidence of random YouTube clips. You'll just have to forgive me for being a bit old school like that.

Don’t worry we’ll make short work of that £100m
