Have you heard him commentate on ITV? He makes the most inane comments and mumbles through like a moron!

What do people think about having this chap decide who we sign?!?!

I say give responsibility to manager and let him do his job properly.

Yeah it's not like if enquired for McSheffery on our behalf or helped up with Gunter using his Spurs link is it?

He's not even employed by us we use him as an external referal basis as do other clubs such as Marbella.

I don't know why he is here I think the money we pay him could be saved and spent on a player who will actually be useful to the club.

I hate listening to him on ITV as you said he comes out with some of the worst crap I've ever heard then again I would have Pleat over Laurenson or Hansen any day!!!!!!!!!

Completely and utterly painted as a scapegoat.

The acquisitions the club have made since he's became involved have been excellent to a man, perhaps with the exception of Davies who has found it tough, but has had little chance.

How much of an input he had into any of these signings I don't know, and neither does anyone else. But having a go at Pleatt during an era at this club where we're actually signing decent players is yet further proof that several supporters have immersed themselves in this doom and gloom culture.

Had he been here when we were signing Dadi, Jones, Evans and players with little to no football ability I too would question him. Earnshaw, McSheffrey, Tyson, Osbourne, Cohen??

Plus I think he's an incredibly shrewd football man with unrivalled links in the game and the level of stick he gets again is outrageous for someone who comes across as a decent bloke. Whether transfer policy should be left totally to the manager is another argument, but it isnt anymore and if thats the setup we're gonna have you could do worse than have Pleatt. Dennis Wise anyone?
