Top man. I think we can be thankful to him quite a lot for his guidance in recent seasons.

Pleat talks alot of sense. Interesting to hear some of his opinions about scouted players. He clearly knows alot of people in the game.
Glad we have him involved at the club.

I always want to envisage Pleat as a bumbling idiot from a bygone age who hasn't got a clue how the business of football has changed over the past 20 years but every time I hear him interviewed I end up agreeing with everything he says.

I'm not sure if that is a good or bad thing!

i think he's gained a reputation as a bumbling idiot for things he said on itv, however if you ever read the columns he did for the guardian, or listen to him on the radio (where he doesn't seem to be as chaotic) he seems very level headed and knowledgable.

i was horrified when i found out he was coming to forest. but the strength of the players we've brought in speak volumes, if indeed that is his role. plus i don't doubt that he actually cares for the club. something a lot of people forget is that he was born in nottingham and his first club was forest.

agree, he's a Clifton lad. He has Forest running through his veins.
I watched an interview on BBC, a few years ago, he may not be the most articulate of people on TV, but his message was loud and clear. He's in it for the long haul because he adores Nottingham Forest.

We are very lucky to have him at the club
