Notice how he starts getting more agitated when the forest subject was raised? He was very clam talking about scouting and lower leagues - then started getting uneasy and defensive about the panel!
On a different point - what annoys me about Shorey is that he now looks like sitting the rest of the season on the Fulham bench - very annoying! (Not Forests fault in anyway)

I suspect forest fans are confused by our club being sensible. Hence some peoples moaning about lack of transfers, grumbling about form etc. Who can think of when we were last sensible and consistantly (if too slowly for some) moving forward? Clark for a year or so?

One thing people haven't mentioned is the financial side of things, we didn't sign loads of players in January because we may not have been able to afford all the costs. All the players on Billy's list were looked at and ruled out for seperate reasons.

Pleat was obviously being interviewed at a Derby function - look at the colour scheme of the room he's in - he's always going to be a little more reticent when the subject turns to Forest and transfers and that if he's in such a place.

Why now though when he has not spoken before, the day before the last chance...getting retaliation in first? Obviously there is a battle between him and BD and it is fine to have differing views but only if a consensus is reached. If not they will just keep rejecting each others suggestions and we will not move forwards.

Just watched this now.
I think a lot of people had already made their judgement on Pleat based on the fact he's a bit of a bumbling commentator.
The fact is, he's got masses of experience in the game, knows his stuff and has some good connection. I'm glad he's part of the panel and I'm glad we have the panel.
