David Carmo

Apparently you got it right and I got it wrong. UEFA now scrutinizes such moves between clubs of the same group, so the word on the street is that we'll pay you £5-7m for Carmo.
And the PL still allows these types of transfers in their PSR calculations, so of we are £1-£2m short, I expect we book a small profit here.

We'll then shift some profit back to you somehow from July.

Well that's what I'd do anyway if we do have a small PSR hole!

Arriving early tomorrow morning to sign his new 3-year contract for us, which means he's off your books. No official word on the amount you'll get obviously, but certainly high enough not to raise eyebrows at FIFA.

Pleased with the signing GBG? I know he's been up and down for you.
Initially, neither I nor, more importanly, our manager wanted him back. He had a really excellent first season; then, in his second season, I guess that the fact that you bought him and the dream of the Premier messed with his mind. When he started underperforming, he lost his place in the starting XI and then stopped trying. Despite these shortcomings, the manager still wanted him last summer, but he decided to forego the chance to play at the Champions League in order to go to the worst Spanish team which was the first favourite for relegation (and, indeed, Oviedo got relegated). So it made no sense for me to sign him again.

According to several reports, however, he made it absolutely clear to the manager that he is a changed man, that he will create no troubles, will never complain, and will commit to a long future here. The manager got convinced, so who am I to keep objecting to his return?

He has landed in Athens, so the official announcement is just a matter of time (and FFP timing) now.

Carmo, you came you conquered , and you leave a legend.

EM what negotiation skills, to get the best price for him, even from your beloved Oly

If we need two to replace Anderson, I reckon we need three to replace Carmo

Goodbye sweet prince.

I am going to assume the fee will be about £8m based on us paying £11m for him 2 years ago - would leave a neutral PSR position & in all honesty we probably made a PSR profit on him if we got loan fees.

Carmo signing a 3 year deal at Olympiacos makes me think they’ve just took over the remainder of the contract he had at Forest.
By paying the exact amount of book value left at Forest. Around £5.7m

Potentially, or it has generated a marginal profit or loss that we could accommodate pushing through on 30th June
