Not very weird, it's just that people kept asking him about things related to Forest, given that he seemed to have very good inside info, and he got annoyed that he was treated like an ITK person rather than as a journalist. Not just some rando, Antonis. Used to regularly chip in with Forest stuff, then things went weird for him if I remember.

The Juve technical director is Modesto as well, lol! The football world is small. The DoF of Seville is our former DoF Antonio Cordón, who brought Carmo to Olympiacos in the first place.
Ohh god the Palace fans who stalk this forum are going to put our an hour video pre match about this aren't they. The Juve technical director is Modesto as well, lol! The football world is small.

This. Doesn't seem to do either club any favours, does it?Safe to say these signings for Oly have all been disasters.
No more.
Why can’t Oly buy their own players?Safe to say these signings for Oly have all been disasters.

Marato did OK coming on late, as you rightly point out.
However, he gets caught in possession regularly, struggles to control the ball when it is passed to him, and always looks like he panics when defending, and I am surprised he doesn't concede more dangerous free kickcs, even penalties.
Why can’t Oly buy their own players?
Or is it just another wheeze to get profits into Forest?
Rare occasion I might be right!Personally I don't see this as forward planning, this is a player Oly has wanted since the end of last season and it is a creative way to get around FFP in Europe. I'd be shocked if he ever plays a game for Forest.
He was good for 98% of last season and was a big reason for hanging on in a huge amount of games. People just want a new shiny toy, the club should continue to back Morato, he is a good age & has all the attributes you need for a defender at this level.I'm a bit more positive on Morato, I definitely think there's a good player in there but coming on and finishing games for 15 minutes hasn't allowed him to get his momentum going.
It's the squad thing again, Murillo can't play every single game so I can see Morato and Cunha getting plenty of cup action this season. Personally I'm very comfortable with both of them as rotational players, we need to be aware of our current status and I think those two (and Boly) are very good 2nd string players for our current level
Couldn't agree more. Hate how quickly people want to discard players who did so well last season, based on some highlight reels and a few reviews from random 'pundits'. It's the modern blight of zero attention span... always want something new and (supposedly) better.People just want a new shiny toy
I look forward to seeing him next pre-season then (again)Carmo is very close to Real Oviedo, as a loan. According to Antonis Oikonomidis, the Spanish team will cover his wages and give you a substantial loan fee (you want 2m euros).
