Will we be booing him on Saturday like last time or just the usual "You could have signed for a big club".

Personally I won't treat him any different as he obviously was desperate to sign wasn't he Marthur....

like any other player but would quite like to see some tongue and cheek cheering for him when his name is announced for the line up. Who knows he might think we all love him and want to come after all.

I never got an invite. Wouldn't want to be with a load of taffs for the night anyway

Who cares? He wasn't signed because our board failed to offer a satisfactory figure for him.

He's just a player for the opposition.

I think Mark Arthur should join the end of the team line-up for the bit where they all shake hands.... :D

Flatulence

Burnt the bloody Chorizo.
I beaver vote in polls without the Geoff Hurst option.

It said never but beaver looked better.

Is he getting married?

Rich B joined nearly 5 years ago and just made his first post. Almost like waiting for deep thought to produce the answer to life.....

It's not the inadequacies of the club - it's the inadequacies of some of those tw@ts that try to run it.

Therefore, when we are talking about buying a player, it is the same thing.

or... "you didn't get 60 pages, get 60 paaaaaaaaaages, you didn't get 60 pages"

You could look at it the way describe above... or you could say we wouldn't pay the ridiculous asking price which, in my opinion, was too much for someone who, though he may help us get to the Premiership with a few goals, wouldn't be much use in it. He's good but nowhere near £3m good or whatever they wanted for him (I saw £4m stated at one point!). Forest can't afford to shell out £3m every summer for one player.

"forest rent boy, forest rent boy wooooah wooooah"

or probably more appropriate....."arthur's rent boy, arthur's rent boy, woooah wooooah"

in all seriousness, i think we should give him a brilliant pre-game reception, as this can only help us snaffle him on a free transfer in january (remember the clapping of cohen/davies after the play off heartache helped us clinch those two.....arron davies's words not mine). However, as soon as the game kicks off its all about the mighty reds and any opposition player should be treated with the contempt they deserve!!!

Why boo him?

He never got the chance to turn us down and if Arthur is to be believed (i know I know) then he actually wanted to join us.

If we still have any chance of signing this lad then I really don't think booing him is a good idea

Yup, spot on my owd.

If he still has an open mind, why make him think Forest fans are all a bunch of tossers?
