Botafogo came very close to losing midfielder Danilo and attacking midfielder Montoro to Nottingham Forest today.The deal would have been closed for about 35 million euros (R$ 217 million). However, Botafogo still owes Nottingham Forest for Danilo. After deducting that debt and subtracting other costs like taxes and agents' commissions, the Alvinegro would be left with just €8 million (R$ 50 million) and would lose both players.The negotiation only didn't happen because Botafogo's fan association managed to secure a court decision today that blocks sales by the SAF.John Textor was handling these sales of Danilo and Montoro with Evangelos Marinakis, owner of Nottingham Forest.

Had a quick look at the stats sites (Fotmob, sofascore, whoscored etc) and he doesn't feature very high up, if at all, for the season just gone.

Started this season well though, bagged a couple of goals in the first game yesterday
