So we've swapped Jesus and Jair for Dani then.
I can't see us driving anyone to Brazil. There's a lot of water in the way...It makes such a change to read a thread where we are sad to see a player go, after years of offering to drive departing players to their next club.
It was sublime.Played an exceptional through ball assist for Botafogo as they beat Bragantino in the Copa do Brasil. Look for the clip on Nathan Joyes profile on X who calls the pass "insane".
Missing him already.
I hope he makes it back with us - as long as Johnny T is in charge there's that chance. It was sublime.
He's too good for the Brazilian league. I still think he'll make it big back in Europe somewhere.

Have you seen games in Brazil? They are not a low pressure environment. They are mental. He needs minutes in a low-pressure environment to get some form and confidence back.
He scored another great goal last night
I have no idea why he went back to Brazil, should have stayed in Europe

But it's hardly at the top end of the PL. The PL is something different - really only La Liga and Serie A are anywhere near the same level. He scored another great goal last night

Worth every penny.
Let's just hope they are making any outstanding payments due to Forest, although I guess we could just hang on to anything we still owe them.![]()

He was mostly great in 23/24 too, linked up so well with MGW (Morgan's goal at home to Fulham just one example of many) and notched more goals than any other midfielder of ours in this PL era. Reading this thread back it seems he was underrated by Forest fans from my perspective at least. Agree he wasn't quite the same after the injury sadly.I was watching some 22/23 highlights earlier. Danilo was incredible at times that season - doing things none of our midfielders have done since. Never the same player after the injury.
