Bloody hell to use a phrase - genuinely surprised as transfer negotiations, incoming and exit, normally take ages.

All the best - one of my favourite players at his peak and will always remember his amazing goal against Southampton (with pistol celebration) that was crucial in keeping us up - Danillllooooooooo from Seb Hutchinson

Tough one. The injury was obviously an aspect of how it went, but I think he struggled to deal with the pace of the game in England. A few too many unnecessary giveaways in the center of the park, in short. Thought he'd potentially become a key player for us when he joined, but didn't quite hit the levels needed. Hope he does well, of course.

Enjoyed watching him play. Seemed to do it with a smile. Good luck to him in the future.

Best of luck to him.

The injury was a huge setback, and where we are as a club now made it difficult to give him time to find his form.

It was always going to be a loan or a transfer.

Dominguez as the box to box option.

'Box to box'? Where did that happen? I know Dominguez pulled us out the fire on occasion by being all over the pitch, but I didn't see the surging runs that Yates can produce on occasion. I thought the forum decided that Yates+Dom didn't work.....must read up on my notes.

Good bye, sweet prince.

Always remember the goal celebrations and his last big game for us was Spurs away. He looked great. Sadly, the injury will take longer to get over.

Thought this was dead in the water when Lyon were struggling to complete the deal. Luckily, after touting Danilo's services to all 4 corners of the globe we managed to find another buyer.

Absolutely nothing to see here.

Expected great things after his breakthrough season with us but that injury at the start of last season really set him back. Still expected him to stay with the extra Euro matches. Squad's looking a bit thin.

He looked great in his 1st season when we packed the middle of the pitch and he could drive forward and give a goal threat. Think as we developed though he would get exposed defensively, then obviously after his injury he really struggled.

Hoping this is part of some billionaire back scratching and we see a Lyon player, or 2, incoming soon.

And was good in his second season - weird how that keeps slipping under the radar.

It must be almost 24/7 behind the scenes now.

I would hope so [emoji4], I dread to think about it 3 days before the end of the window and we're still waiting [emoji24] I think this is the concern for some of us, especially as players are getting bought by other clubs, but there's still time[emoji106][emoji106]
