Dan Gosling

Available on a free after being released by Everton. Former England under 21 who plays central midfield, right midfield or right back, coming off 9 months injured, but might be a possible get if there's no Premiership interest...

He would be excellent. But theres bound to be interest from elsewhere

England Under-21 defender Dan Gosling has walked out on Everton for nothing because the club failed to put a new contract offer to him in writing. Everton made a verbal offer to Gosling but the Premier League sided with the player because of the club's administrative error.

perch has got some tough competition

I read the other day that players like Gosling, Wilshere and Milner will be playing a bigger part in the England set up before the next tournament.

This one is a bit unrealistic. He's left Everton against their wishes, that means he's either got a bigger club than Everton or bigger wages lined up. Either rules us out.

I wouldn't be surprised if Liverpool or Man Utd sign him though he'd no doubt be a starter at a club like Sunderland.
