To be fair he scored for us last time he played except VAR disagreed.
The more I think about, the more I think we should keep Ndoye instead of Bakwa. To be fair he scored for us last time he played except VAR disagreed.
Yeah like I say he looked sharp the last time I saw him play for us, then he got injured again so missed the mini-renaissance under Vitor at the end of the season. Could go either way and suspect a lot depends on how much he wants to be here.Let’s see if he has a good World Cup.
It could help with his value of course but also remind us why we paid the best part of 40 million quid for him
To be fair you’re right this could explain his injury troubles. As could him picking up a couple of injuries. He’s not played for us since mid-April.Cynical part of me thinks he's been saving himself for the World Cup these past few months. Not that there was much of a change to his performances from before that mind.
Aye, I certainly haven’t given up on him just yet. I don’t like giving up on players generally, and last season was a cluster f*** of epic proportions.Yeah like I say he looked sharp the last time I saw him play for us, then he got injured again so missed the mini-renaissance under Vitor at the end of the season. He did score against Germany a couple months back too but agree, Jordan aren't a good team.Comical defending and comical goalkeeping, if there were a few teams in the premier league that replicated Jordan he'd probably be worth keeping
International football is a level below top-tier club football. Even with the same players the cohesion and sharpness isn't there like it is during the season in the Champions League. He did score against Germany a couple months back too but agree, Jordan aren't a good team.
When he leaves and rips it up at his new club everyone will say the club was wrong to let him go anywayIt’s because unlike many “getting rid” of players doesn’t motivate me much. I prefer to see us get the best out of them.
You also need to know when to cut your losses, and this Summer might be an opportune time here. It’s because unlike many “getting rid” of players doesn’t motivate me much. I prefer to see us get the best out of them.
Yeah that’s true. It’s a wait and see for me, that’s all I’m saying. You also need to know when to cut your losses, and this Summer might be an opportune time here.
Yeah I get that, I’ve been somewhat divided on Ndoye but he never manages to fully convince me he’s got that much to offer here, so whilst his stock remains high in Italy it feels like we could recover a good wedge of that fee back, and reinvest in forward areas without much risk of production drop off.Yeah that’s true. It’s a wait and see for me, that’s all I’m saying.
Some folk seem to revel in it. The quicker we can deem someone "not good enough for Nottingham Forest " the better, seems to be the approach. The concept of time to settle is foreign to many. It’s because unlike many “getting rid” of players doesn’t motivate me much. I prefer to see us get the best out of them.
That’s the crux to me. Ndoye looked worse as the season went onHope has a good World Cup so we can cash in. He clearly suits the Italian League.
Bakwa got progressively better towards the tail end of the season & showed glimpses of what's to come. N'Doye seemed to get worse. Decent finisher though.
He didn’t play after the middle of April due to injury. Prior to that everyone was looking a bit crap. That’s the crux to me. Ndoye looked worse as the season went on
‘Injured’He didn’t play after the middle of April due to injury. Prior to that everyone was looking a bit crap.
Eleven minutes in the league since mid-March. He’s been injured.
