i highly doubt any club would pay what we paid for him - £35m. Swiss players just doesn't do well at forest - pascolo, freuler and now ndoye

I personally think he's worth another season. I appreciate he hasn't set the world on fire, but would like to see if VP can get more from him, because there is more in there.

Sounds like we are offering him to teams as opposed to teams approaching us.
It makes sense: he's clearly the odd man out in a squad with many players who, initially, looked like a flop, but during the course of the season showed that they are not without some qualities.

To give context only around ~8 players per season get signed for more than £20m in Serie A. If we're expecting £30m offers to come in from Italy we'll be waiting a while
Reports imply he’s highly valued, although that could be a narrative the club are pushing.

There's almost certainly interest in him, he's shown what he's capable of at that level. The problem is convincing one of the few sides who could afford him to cough up the money, that's going to be difficult on the back of a disappointing season where everyone knows we're looking to get rid

I think we've done well if we can get around £20m with a sell on clause included. Or ideally the big man finds a new Textor so we can sell him for £50m

We always somehow manage to claw good value for our players, by hook or by crook...

It looks a tough ask with Ndoye though considering the initial outlay of anything between £30-35M. I wonder if Olympiakos manage to find £35m down the back of the sofa...

Am normally all for giving players a chance, as they aren’t machines and can take time to settle etc. Plus most players have improved under Vikor and he couldn’t have played too many under him due to injuries. But we can’t go into next season with question marks and uncertainty regarding 4 of our attacking signings we made this season, hoping they come good. McAtee, Bakwa and Hutch i think offer different things for us, and potentially have higher ceilings for us. Plus not sure if we need 4 wingers given the formation we have recently played.
