Dan Assane Ndoye

We HATE the Villa
The only thing I've seen him do very well is finish. I'm not sure he should actually be used as a winger, more an outside forward if you ask me. How you fit that into our system (and if it's worth it) I dunno

Almost guaranteed to move on in the Summer, if his head is elsewhere already as some say then his body should be nowhere near the pitch we need 100% commitment right now
Said it before but he looks far more like a player that's going to score a chance than create one

There might be a case for sticking him up top, although IIRC we tried that late on once and it had mixed results

I know it's popular to lay into N'Doye, and there is no doubt whatsoever that he's been exceptionally poor for us to this point, but I still think there is something worth persevering with next season. His situation to me feels a lot like Sangare, he just hasn't got up to speed with the Premier League and has struggled badly, but he was an ascending player at Bologna and performs well for his country. His situation has all the hallmarks of a guy who, if we can help him settle and adjust to the league, could be a game changing player, much like Ibra is now. Maybe he can't adjust and will simply be a guy who couldn't make it in the Premier League, but I still think the recent history lesson of our Ivorian colossus should give us pause before we write off N'Doye.

If we are gong to be patient with the likes of Bakwa and Ndoye by giving them next season, then we better buy a lethal CF in case it doesn't work out.

If Napoli are still interested, there is no decision to be made.

Same with Morato, if we were comfortable in the league, I suspect we'd have sold him for 17m.

This has been a grim season and if we survive the drop, we should thank our lucky stars and reduce the risk of anything like it happening next year.

I actually think he's the one with most promise out of the three wingers we bought. His off the ball runs at times have been decent and he's got a good eye for a pass.

But, we need to freshen up the wing options and chances are he's the first to be sold in summer because he's got a decent track record (unlike Bakwa and Hutchinson) and doesn't have a whacking great big sell-on clause like CHO. Think Hutchinson may follow him out the door and leave us with CHO (don't want to sell as not much money in it) and Bakwa (no suitors) as backups, with two new wingers coming in.

I think there is a fair chance he will go, but would also agree that I think there is promise there. He has done very well for his other clubs, his country and in the CL. Yes the PL is different, but I cant help thinking there is more to it with NDoye. Maybe he wants out and hasn't settled. Dunno.

He hasn't done it in the Europa League this season either. I just wonder if he doesn't like it here.

I think Ndoye will go as he has a market in Italy and could bring in some funds, but I think the other one to go will be Bakwa (first of a series of underperforming loans back to France for the next few years).

Pereira has given both of them more chances than most and I don’t think it’s because he’s a great guy or rates them. They have hardly impressed him in the games he has picked them. Hutchinson at least produces the odd moment/cross/run and has played centrally a bit too.

Unless VP wants another situation like Wolves that got him the sack, I’m pretty sure he will be very clear to EM about what he needs in the summer to give EM what he wants. And that won’t include Ndoye or Bakwa, surely. It might not even include any wingers if he wants to play 352.

Ndoye will likely go back to Italy challenging for league titles with Napoli or Inter while Forest fans will tell you how shit he is.
He'll be prime Saka on here as soon as we sell him

More likely that as soon as he leaves and then scores for his new club or something this thread gets bumped with how good he was and how we shouldn't have sold him
