Loan with obligation incoming would be my guess. Perhaps a deal similar to what we are potentially doing with Frattesi incoming.

Get rid ASAP.

Toblerone/Adidas standfinder boots and a quality street tin head.

Tactically aware but completely out muscled and either makes the wrong decision or can't complete the important technical bit.

If someone ordered £20M now, I wouldn't even haggle, I'd bite their arms off for it.

Agreed. The glee some of our fans are taking in him struggling a bit for his country is embarrassing.

Don't think it's glee.

I've been on a bit of a journey with him. When he first joined I liked the look of him, probably influenced too much because he plays football in a similar way I do, always on the move and finding pockets of space to play into.

He started out wide and I was a bit sceptical that his lack of pace (despite him apparently being rapid) might be a problem but thought that movement would overcome the pace thing. It didn't.

Then thought that movement might serve him well if he played off the striker or was given a bit of a free role, a bit like MGW had in the 4-4-2 in the latter stages of the season. But we tried it a couple of times, and the game bypassed him.

Others pointed to the club being a mess impacting on his potential performances but he's had two games for Switzerland where he's in his comfort zone and he's doing the same things for them as he was for us, nice off the ball movement but everything breaks down after he receives the ball.

There's just not enough there to warrant keeping him around to see if he comes good. I've been pretty scathing of Sangare in the past but it was always obvious he passed the ball well even if his defensive side needed a lot of work. Same with Williams, thought he wouldn't be able to sort his defensive liabilities but his workrate and ball carrying might suit him as a winger. There were options, something to hold on to.

Ndoye... there's just nothing. I don't revel in that. I don't enjoy seeing a player who plays the game in the way I do really struggle to make any sort of impact. But that's the cold hard truth, and we paid £30m for it, and we need to try and find a way to recoup as much as that as possible in order to spend that money on a different type of winger who could make a difference.

Don't get me wrong I also find him very frustrating. These last couple of games for Switzerland especially (despite me being entirely neutral). I just don't think relentless negativity is going to help see us recoup that money. See for example all the "Get rid ASAP" comments.

I don't think forum posts will influence whether we sell him or how much for.

Seems the club have made a decision on him giving he's 4th choice at the moment. Problem might be finding a buyer. Think it's too easy to assume an Italian club will buy him just because he looked good for Bologna. We paid a lot, Italian clubs don't have the same level of money sloshing around to throw on players where it's not obvious they'll quickly improve their squad.

To be fair I don't think comments online, either negative or positive have any impact whatsoever on either his performances or the likelihood of us getting good money for him.

The thing is - if he'd knocked in a couple of those chances for Switzerland in the last couple of games (as he has before - several times) everyone would still be unhappy ("why can't the **** do that for us" etc). People almost seem happier he's missed a few because apparently that proves them right in their negative assessment. It doesn't help Forest though which is all I'm bothered about really.

He continues to look devoid of confidence. The manager was clearly trying to boost him in the tunnel at half-time. I’m not making excuses for his poor season or his drop off in form for his country, i doubt anyone will be more unhappy with it than him.

In terms of next season - i guess Pereira has a decision to make about his wide players, and he should use a part of pre-season to assess this (unless he’s already done it, which is very possible).
His banger of a header in the first game showed a natural attackers instincts, but transitioning to the PL, the turbulence had an effect on everyone (i simply won’t accept an argument that it wouldn’t, that much change will have affected the whole squad, to differing degrees of course).

I want to see him scoring for his country, as it will be (like any England player) his dream to play for them on the biggest stage.
If he goes, fine. If he stays, fine. People who know what they’re doing will have made a judgement, and i’ll cheer, or wish him well either way.

I've taken more notice of him in the WC than in any Prem game, simply because in the Prem games, there is so much going on and he doesn't stand out. But in the Swiss games, I'm not interested in the other action.

And I've had to agree with the majority opinion, he's not really very good. Lots of huff and puff, but little else.

He's a bit of a modern day Gil Dias for me. Not really very good at any particular thing. Seems to get in good positions but lacks the quality and decision making. Too slow to be a striker really or come off the bench and make an impact.

He doesn’t look particularly arsed or motivated. Sell.
He hasn't played for us since April. And I think that's a very lazy accusation to throw at him. You can't just stamp your feet and demand we sell him if A) the club disagree with your assessment and want to keep him or B) we can't find a buyer.

To be clear I don't think he's very good and I'd be happy if he went back to Serie A for £20m+, I just find all the screaming to GET RID!!! a bit juvenile.

Its weird, isn't it. If we went now and watched his games for Bologna, would we see whatever it was that persuaded our recruitment team to splash out. Was just somehow a different player then?

I'd hazard a guess we're not the dream move that was sold to him either. Last season we were a bloody circus with some blatantly stupid decisions by the owner which I don't think is a coincidence with many of the new players not bedding in properly. I'd give him another half season to see how it goes under a "stable regime" assuming the owner allows us to have that. If there's no change of manager and he's not improving by Christmas then I agree, move him on.

Make your own mind up

Interestingly, it’s lots of nice little touches then the clip ends before he does anything with it, so I would say it’s pretty selective.

Plenty of the defenders look slow as f*** as well.

Plenty of Forest players at the World Cup with hardly a mention they play for us, yet as soon as Ndoye step on the pitch we do like its out fault he isn't very good.

I was hoping the useless f***er would look alright for Switzerland so we could recoup our money, we’ll be selling him at a loss now.
