For me I'm with Cooper on attitude. Its probably the most important thing (given a requirement for a certain level of talent, of course).
All the players who have done best for us have an elite mentality. I hope that's who we look at signing.

Agree with the sentiment but actually there was little if anything wrong with Lingard's attitude. It was his level of fitness and natch sharpness that was his undoing

I just looked it up and I got my timings wrong, apparently he was drinking during the final stages of his United career.

Apparently he threw a wobbly on the pitch last night because he didn't get the captain's armband after a substitution. Spent 2 minutes whining on the pitch and then went home and started liking posts by clubs with transfer links.

If there's one thing I can't f***ing stand its players with a bad/unprofessional attitude. Absolutely hate it.

We need more Necos, more MGWs, not more Lingards.

Watching one of the Forest pre-season YouTube videos they interviewed the chef who has worked at some top clubs and the McLaren F1 team.

He said this is his favourite job and puts it down to how approachable the players are. This positive family atmosphere in my opinion is generated by the skippers Yates and MGW with others pitching in. Compare that to Bruno at United who is a better player, but a worse leader.

This working man's football team (OK they're millionaires) is our moat and is what sets us apart from the rest of the Prem. Whilst the top clubs have better budgets, the rest of us need a niche to gain an edge which we currently have.
