Gyros Peter
Sauce salad?
Tough on Bakwa!
I think Aina is still carrying an injury and not is not nearly fully fit but, given the lack of full-backs, he's had to play. Remember, he didn't really play in pre-season either. That might be another reason why Nuno wasn't happy with the transfer window a few weeks back.Honestly, I don't think Aina has had a good game for us since going off injured against United and I thought he was quite lethargic on Sunday as well. That could be because of the lack of relationship between him and Ndoye but if you contrast how little Aina was getting forward and looking to make things happen with how much Neco was getting forward, it's like night and day.
As for Hudson-Odoi, I think there is a certain element that he's overhyped. Good player but very inconsistent. Considering his position, he doesn't contribute anywhere near enough creatively.
Aina gets a pass from fans because he's the vibe merchant and Hudson-Odoi somewhat is still living off Anfield last year and occasionally, something he does comes off. It'll be interesting to see if he can maintain his place now we've got options.
Think Cuiabano has gone back to Brazil on loan.Writing this down, with a count so it makes sense to me...
League
In:-
Williams (1), Morato (2), Murillo (3), Sangaré (4), CHO (5), Anderson (6), MGW (7), Wood (8), Luiz (9), Victor (10), Ndoye (11), Kalimuendo (12), Gunn (13), Jesus (14), Hutchinson (15), Yates (16), McAtee (17), Sels (18), Bakwa (19), Milenkovic (20), Cuiabano (21), Aina (22), Zinchenko (23), Savona (24), Boly (25)
+ Cunha, Abbott
Misses out
Awoniyi, Jota Silva, Dominguez (Inj)
So, if Dom is back in a reasonable time frame, then one of Boly or Morato miss out, possibly.
Europe:-
Buggered if I know.
I haven't seen anything official. But if that's correct then Dom gets that place - or if he's not fit until the next window, Awoniyi and Jota can toss a coin.Think Cuiabano has gone back to Brazil on loan.

What’s making us think that they think this?My thoughts exactly. Every spot in the team needs to be earned and if they (or anyone) think they're going to breeze into the side each week they've got another thing coming.
The 'last known' registration was with us. As there has been no official announcement of him leaving, then I'm working on that basis.Has there been any official word on Jota being ours?
I read that because the FIFA; be was submitted correctly he's their player, but can't play in the Portuguese league as they stuffed that one up.The 'last known' registration was with us. As there has been no official announcement of him leaving, then I'm working on that basis.
I read that too - but I don't always trust what I read, when it's from sources that aren't always correct.I read that because the FIFA; be was submitted correctly he's their player, but can't play in the Portuguese league as they stuffed that one up.
Imagine there's plenty going on behind the scenes to rectify it, as think he couldn't play for them after December if he goes elsewhere on loan until then because I think he came in for us?
Yeah, if he's still preferring to go to Portugal (in January) then the fact he appeared against Brentford will prevent him signing anywhere in the interim, due to the three club rule.I read that because the FIFA; be was submitted correctly he's their player, but can't play in the Portuguese league as they stuffed that one up.

Damn, i did, i was going off the Club's website which i dont think has caught up yet !You forgot Cuiabano and Bakwa so a couple more misses out...
He's probably better of there really, since he can apparently play champions league and cup games. He'll struggle for any kind of time with us given the need to bed in new arrivals. Rubbish for him.Yeah, if he's still preferring to go to Portugal (in January) then the fact he appeared against Brentford will prevent him signing anywhere in the interim, due to the three club rule.
Who knows what the current situation actually is. Doubt we'll get any official confirmation until it's untangled and you'd imagine the club are trying to sort that at the moment.
I’m not giving them pelters at all. Just responding to a previous post that stated that they may be unhappy with so much competition for places and what the outcome could be.Er...what?...
Is there any reason to doubt Aina or CHO's commitment?
Just watched full match replay of Sunday's game and can't understand the pelters Aina is getting, for a start.
Not much love out there for our record signingWould love to see this front six together for 60 mins.
The layout won't let me put Ndoye and Bakwa wide. Never mind.
Kalimuendo
Ndoye Bakwa
Anderson Luiz Gibbs-White
Aina has a very languid style which I suppose could be misinterpreted as not caring but I dont think any of our players knowingly slack off.I’m not giving them pelters at all. Just would be excited to see these six to play together. Not sure what you want me to say about my love or lack of it for someone else not here on my list reallyNot much love out there for our record signing
It might not be about you!Just would be excited to see these six to play together. Not sure what you want me to say about my love or lack of it for someone else not here on my list reallyBizarre.
Luiz and sangare are the number 6Potentially very exciting. Am I the only one concerned that we didn’t go and get the out-and-out number 6 that our starting 11 needed?
