Seems to get forward well and whip a decent cross - obviously a highlight reel but picks a man out well. Minor goal threat too with 10 in 70.

I really get the feeling Botofogo want to sign Ronaldo for the club world cup, and we will end up funding it with as many players as they want to sell with them joining us after the competition.

We are generally good at spotting value and pouncing nowadays, I don't think any of this is a coincidence that it's all happening quite suddenly.

I just said in the Jair thread that it wouldnt surprise me if we are negotiating for all 3 players at the same time and trying to get them done, Its picking up pace

He’s been offered best part of 100m in ownership stake from Textor’s football empire to move. Fairly wild offer. Be interesting to see what unfolds.

Pretty crap offer really because he's got more on the table than that to stay in Saudi & Textor's footballer empire will be worth peanuts when it all goes bankrupt because he has no money (which is why he's offering him shares).

It is something big we are saving Lyon from getting relegated by asset-stripping Botafogo, All Money will go to Lyon.

Me too! Imagine the CB is one for Rio Ave at 19, the left back is probably ours (but could be for Oly for a year to adapt) and the striker is obviously one for us.

Given positions suspect all three will be for us.

Interesting for the players in question as well in terms of interest from elsewhere. Premier League team AND move with two of your mates?

I'd be very surprised if the 19yr old is ours for this season - longer term yes, but expect he'll get a loan first.

He’s being offered a stake in Crystal Palace apparently, seems like a financially viable offer to me.

If we get Jair over the line then we have some unreal potential at centre back. You'd imagine Tylor Bindon will be heading for a Champ loan but I have a feeling he'll impress everyone over the summer similar to Murillo.

I remember during the United-Lyon game they mentioned Thiago Almada (on loan with Lyon) would be going back to his parent club because Lyon couldn't afford him. I would offer Mr Textor a real friendly hand and offer to take Thiago Almadas deal off Lyon and bring him to the cozy confines of Nottingham. A supreme talent.


Just looked up his parent club........its Botafogo :love: 😂

Given we are going to have lots of minutes to offer to these players via the ECL, I can’t see us shipping them off. The idea would be to give them an easier first year in England to adapt whilst getting probably 1500+ minutes across domestic cups and Europe.
