Hi, I'm a forest season ticket holder and I have 2 mates who are Coventry fans and are coming up to game with me. As they asked me to get tickets for them, I went on the Coventry website to order 2 tickets for the away supporters. As soon as I clicked confirm, it occured to me that post doesn't run over christmas. So as I ordered them on Christmas eve, will the tickets go straight to the city ground?

As you pretended to be a Cov Supporter I imagine they would be to pick up at Covs ground yesterday?

You'll need to speak to the Coventry ticket office to confirm this. Looking at the Coventry web site, it doesn't give any news of the ticket office opening over the Christmas period. Some clubs are opening their ticket offices today (Sunday) but this is probably where they're playing at home.

I suggest you try the Coventry ticket office and failing that, speak to the Forest ticket office.

Its rather stupid that the Coventry web site allowed you to proceed with a transaction if it can't get you the tickets. Is there any additional information on your receipt email giving you special instructions?

Actually just logged in and it says:

Tickets will be posted to the address registered for orders received up to 3 days prior to the game. Tickets for orders received after this time should be collected from the Ticket Office Prepaid Collection Windows AT LEAST 30 MINS PRIOR TO KICK OFF. You should bring along your credit card and a printed copy of your email confirmation as proof of purchase.

What it doesnt say is if that means home and AWAY or that AWAY could be picked up from Forest. You do see them behind the clough stand collecting or buying tickets sometimes..

Given that it's the ticket office website for Coventry, they probably mean Coventry ticket office when they say ticket office.

I agree but don't they normally return all unsold/uncollected tickets to the ground of origin 24hrs prior to kick-off?, i.e. today..

edit ... Actually that must be only unsold as say you were going on the clubs official away coaches you'd want to pop down into the ticket office and grab your tickets then onto the coaches..
