Alright all, WBA fan here. If I wanted to put in a complaint to the club what email should I use ?

Unlucky yesterday, you deserved to win never mind a point. Good luck for the rest of the season.

About the heavy handed stewards + old bill in the away end. Every time we tried to stand up they told us to sit down and threatened to chuck us out. About 50 of our fans got kicked out but the fans above us, top right they are allowed to stand and the stand on the left in the top left corner they stand and no one said anything to them.

Alright mate,

Thanks for the commiserations - I was feeling heartened that we put in a good display against a fancied team, but reading some Baggies fans comments you're not exactly playing well. Ah well!

In terms of complaints, what is it regarding? I'm going to guess stewarding... ha, just seen your reply.

You'll find the stewards/police are equally ridiculous with the home fans, I sit in the section above you to the right. Didn't see many ejections, mind (from the home section) unusually. Only spotted a couple from the away end and they looked like 'having a word and letting you back in' types rather than actual ejection.

You could try the form on this page:
Linkie

Although I don't really hold out much hope you'd get even a reply let alone a resolution - our fans have complained about the stewards and security staff for years to no avail :(

call 999 and speak to them,, that has to be the quicker than sending an email and waiting days for a reply

Welcome mate. Yes the stewards are rediculously militant towards the home fans aswell. It's as if their pay gets docked every time the Forest fans stand up. However the usual rouse is once the Forest fans sit down, someone begins with ''stand up if you hate derby'' which never fails to undo their hard work.

Whilst they are neccasary they talk to you as if you are a bloody criminal, not someone who has paid to go to the game. There are (were a few good lads, Barry Evans and the huge black bloke who worked as a doorman in town) but they number in the minority !

In a similar sense, where do I lodge my complaint that I thought we were robbed? You got the game. If you are that fickle then don't rub it in on a fans forum dude. Go to the OS.

I saw him, he was in Brian Clough upper stewarding. I don't think anyone would mess with him!

He's a dude :) He's pretty half-hearted with his sit-down requests.

Alan Bexon has taken the hard line in terms of security in the last few seasons.Stewards like Winnits said are no better with the home supporters especially got the guys sitting in A-Block and U1 and U2 putting a complaint in is like pissing in the wind as they won't change their approach. Also i would like to add that I'm not a fan of the red netting above the away supporters.

If things weren't thrown over on such a regular basis it wouldn't be there.

I don't see how it affects anything anyway.

You don't go to many away games, do you?

The black guy with the red hair? What a badass! There's that guy with the teeth who is sometimes at southbank post game manning the door too, and that bald man with the platted beard who mans new revo. Seen them all about now and then on match day. Wish I was hench like them and could be a doorman and command the respect of pissheads.

Bit off topic but hey.

I'm not condoning the thrown objects, just that i dont like having a bit of banter with a red net like to see the away fans.

Is it a net or a sheet? You should be able to see through a net.

It's a net, you can see through it.

I don't see it as a big deal, that said, having sat up there for more seasons than I care to remember I also haven't noticed any missiles being lobbed either - indeed, the netting would be easy enough to clear to get the front fans anyway if you were of that unfortunate mindset.

As for liquids, the holes in the netting simply allows for better dispersal of it over more victims!

I know of unfinished pies going over but as you point out it's mostly liquids. We were probably asked to put it there by the FA. Wasn't it them who requested we put in extra cameras and did I imagine a few rows being closed at the front of the upper tier was mentioned on the official site a few seasons back. I sit in the upper Trent so never really noticed.
