Let me know when and I'll bring some more matches.

Notts wanted to hang onto him but Felix changed his mind.

Yep, he was playing well for Notts and they had agreed an extension with Forest but Bastians heard about interest from MK Dons, so he went there and didn't make an appearance. :D

Thats right f*cked me off.
Combo was one of my favoutite players but know he's going, and going to Derby I have little time for him

If Calderwood announced that we were signing 2 players who had spent most of their playing career in the third division would you be happy? I don't think so. And yet here we have a supposedly ambitious club, with pots of money to spend and (according to them) are a major attraction, trying to sign Commons and Ferry Bodde. If thats the level of the players they are hoping to recruit, I think they are in for a difficult season!

Has anyone ever heard Commons himself call himself a Forest fan as I haven't.. only the media. He probably isn't a 'fan' at all.

Yes, he has.

I've seen him several times on TV programmes gushing over his love for the club, and he regularly wrote of his affinity in his now-scrapped FA website column.

I distinctly remember him writing about taking his old shirts and photographs to be signed by McGovern and Burns.

He's a f**king traitor.

Cool, I wasn't suggesting he hadn't, just that I hadn't heard it.

In that case, should be be confirmed as a Derby player, he is a traitorous scumbag.

Well, it's not entirely a surprising, but it is a huge psychological blow for the next term.

We better have some decent signings lined-up to shift the balance there. He may not always turn in the best performances but you cannot deny that he has quite a following.

im so sad. hes an awesome player. :(

That's just it though, he isn't!

He's been made to look good by the dross that has turned out alongside him.

He is average at best.

Like I said elsewhere, we've still got Sammy Sideways and Wes "parody of himself" Morgan.

Also, smithy told me Marlon Harewood is coming back! ;)

My blood is boiling.

There's no loyalty left in this game of ours.

Thanks for your efforts Kris. Now f*** off and don't come back. Ever.

And don't bother with the exit interview about 'a difficult decision' etc etc. It's all bullshit and you are a badge kissing, money grabbing judas piece of shit. If you sign for Derby, I hope Bennett breaks your leg.

It sounds as if Calderwood made the decision for him.

Commons sounds as though he was bluffing for a bigger deal, and Calderwood has decided to call his bluff.

Shows some real strength of management to take the decision out of the players hands and not offer him a new contract.

Looking back, at the end of the season Commons did say on the radio that no contract had been offered, it could have been at that point that he was regretting his decision to attempt to sandbag the club.

I'm sure we'll cope without him though.

At times he was magic to watch, but we have let better players go elsewhere and have survived.

My feeling is that if Commons wanted to stay he would've stayed.

I agree entirely. If he was going to muck us around for another month before not signing a contract anyway, we're best shot of him, and spending our time finding a replacement.

Yeah. Perhaps CC has decided he was more trouble than he was worth, particularly now he has a whole new bunch of potential signings who are cheaper than commons and have a better attitude. Or maybe he just got pissed off with his agent and told him where to go.

Yes, but it would have been on the terms of the club, and not his own.

It reads to me as though Calderwood thinks Commons has ideas above his station.

It's very much a case of the club not being held to ransom.

Let's get it right...leaving us at the end of last season would have been treachery, leaving now...well, I guess I feel gratitude to him for helping us out of the shit before he disappeared.

Until he signs for Derby I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.

No he doesn't and yes he can.

He owes us nothing. He's out of contract and all your looking for is some bullshit appeasment for all the morons who bought into this "he's Forest through and through" crap.

He is out of contract with us, so is therefore not our player, thus he owes us absolutely no explanation and can sign for whoever the hell he likes.

Coincidentally Andy Robinson is also buggering off from Swansea to join Leeds...

Just one of those days I guess.

If he signs for someone else, I will wish him well.
