Commons gone. CONFIRMED.

What I don't understand is why he stayed last summer and gave us one more chance of going up if he had no intention of playing for us even if we did go up.

Unless no-one wanted him last season.

Just can't help thinking about the way he acted after the Yeovil game though, I don't think anyone could have seen this coming. He certainly didn't look like he wanted to leave that day, being his last game in his mind.

That's what really irks me more than anything. It just seemed to mean so much to him...I remember saying to my dad that after what happened on that fateful Saturday afternoon there is no way that he would even think about leaving.

I was wrong, completely wrong.

I wonder why they've left it until today to announce it.

Maybe the talks with Earnshaw have come to a positive conclusion...

What I can't undertsand that if he was a Forest fan and moved to Derby how could he bear the reception.

If I was booed and called a fat judas twat etc by 25,000 forest fans at the city ground wearing a Derby shirt I would probably be heartbroken. That is what makes it more annoying is that he has tagged the line for last4 years that is a Forest fan when in reality he isn't.

Good luck to him, I do feel that this is a poor example of someoen who in my opinion supports this fine club of ours and it is evidnet that this has been his intention for quite some time.

In a way i'm pleased he's gone as he is best described as an injured drifter and I think that we have sufferred tactically to fit him in the team sometimes as he never stays in position a la the horror game at Gillingham!!

If he signs for Direbynil fair enough I hope he suffers with them and I personalluy can't wait for the reception he gets when he comes back to the CG or indeed when we go to the stadium built of Meccano!

I can't see Jewell allowing him to play the lost role that he has been allowed with forest and I think this may stifle his undoubted ability and give him the hump which will result in him going off the boil again. It really is a brave move for him and one which is going to leave a bitter tatse in our mouths for some time.

Thanks for the limited contribution this season and i'm sure nobody will be creating any effergies of you hanging from a noose today you ungrateful little bugger!

That's my point as well Liz. Does he expect to be going to a premiership side? If not, then why has he left? He is playing in the championship as he said he wanted to.

i for one wish kris well in his future. he gaves us a great deal and that shouldn't be over shadowed with the fact he is joining our rivals.

Not to mention to leave now after we've finally gained promotion.

I wouldn't have blamed him if he'd have left at anytime during our miserable stay in League One but to leave now...?

Humbug.

You're joking right?

They're rammel!

The last time I saw Bastians in the reserves he was easily the best player on the pitch, I honestly think he has great potential but his attitude is questionable from what I have heard.

Can't really speak for Power but being released at that young age can't be nice for him, I hope he finds a new club soon.

Forest fan? Yeah, looks like it.

If he turns out for D*rby next season I honestly hope he does himself a serious injury.

There are a lot of people who will inevitably tell me that I'm out of order for saying that, but it's what I'm feeling at the moment. I'm just being honest.

f***ing traitor.

Has anyone ever heard Commons himself call himself a Forest fan as I haven't.. only the media. He probably isn't a 'fan' at all.

That said, I'm still preparing an effigy of him to hang from the bridge over the A52 and then set fire to...

Why use an effigy when we could get the real thing?

He kissed the badge ... that's enough for me. I can add him to the folder called 'Inner Circle of Hell', along with Roy Keane, Gareth Williams and Marlon King.

My very reliable source tells me that he will be signing for LTLF FC. The promise of a pie and a pint after games has proved too tempting and has decided to leave Forest for LTLF. :)

So long as he is prepared to play back-up to me, then that's fine.

Right anyway, I confidently announced that Commons has more chance of sining for AC Milan than for Derby (as beautifully recorded by NFFCMike86  ;D) but that was not because I believed all that "he's Forest through and through" bollocks, it was because I genuinely didn't think Derby wouldn't want him.
They have an ambitious chairman and a good manager, what the hell would they want with Kris "6 games a season" Commons?

Anyone who believes all that rot about him being 100% Forest obviously has no grasp on the power money.  I just honestly believed he'd go to someone neutral, into whose midfield he could slip and play his own brand on unextrordinary, overhyped football.

Derby, if indeed he does sign for them (which looks likely) can do better than Commons, and that is a very depressing thing to say.

Notts County and Halifax both sent Bastians back from loan spells.

Says it all I think.

I'm not happy with Commons deciding to leave us, but well, good luck. And why call him 'a traitor' when he's not signed for Sheep yet? Let's wait and see, maybe he's going somewhere else...

But IF he signs for them: DIE, FAT BASTARD AND ROT IN HELL FOREVER.

Why are we all panicking?

So we've lost Kris "6 games a season" Commons.

We've still got Sammy Sideways and Wes "Parody of himself" Morgan.
