Last week Nicky Shorey was still listed as No. 7 with Fulham.

I assume his loan has now finished, as he is no longer registered on the Fulham web site.

Ironically he is also missing from the Aston Villa web site, (No. 21).

You forgot to mention that one of the stipulations to be written into his contract was that he wanted weekends off to spend more time with his family.

My son lives very close to JB and they use to go to the same gym together.

My son tore his cruciate & intermediate ligaments playing cricket, and part of his recovery was to go to the gym where he had the same fitness instructor, so he got to know him quite well.

He trained yesterday with the rest of the squad and because of the routine he's been going through apparently he came through it better than most who reported back so if we don't sign Shorey or another LFB I would think Bennett will be fit for the start.
