Lee Camp voice and how he conducts himself in a interview annoys me.

The fact of the matter is (and some people will hate this)...

Lee Camp is one of the best young English keepers around. It's not so long ago he was England U21 stopper; yes he got a bit big time and that stalled his career, but if he can get his head right and acknowledges his antics in the past have held him back, he can be one of the best around.

There's an awful lot of myth about Lee Camp, but none so wrong as that which says he's merely "a decent keeper."

I look forward to him proving a few people very wrong this season.

I don't disagree with your thoughts that much- However,

When Rich argues that Smith was highly rated and on the verge of the England squad you dismiss it because it is in the past and counts for nothing yet Camp being in the under 21's makes him special.

Isn't that a tiny bit inconsistant?

Or am I thinking of the wrong person?

I don't know that I've ever dismissed that on the grounds that it was in the past. More likely on the grounds that Smith patently doesn't have the quality to play international football and never has.

The same, of course, could be said of Lee Camp, but what the bejaysus...

Must be someone else. I remember someone doing it.

My apologies.

A Derbeh citeh accent is almost identical to a Nottingham citeh accent. ::)

They are remarkably similar, but the Derby version is underpinned with a certain subtle scumminess :D
