Cohen's Interview

Not sure if anyone has seen Chris Cohen's interview on the OS. He is saying the right things but he looks and sounds defeated.

You would expect him to be one of the few players that will remain upbeat and positive but if he can't, who will?

Iv been confident we would get out of this all year, but this is the first time iv been genuinely worried.

But then if we go and beat Wolves were all happy again, its weird isnt it!

But thats not going to happen now, is it..

perch sounded the same when interviewed on saturday, and the clubs little gesture this week has also woried me slightly, im still confident we will pick up the points needed but I am not confident we will be any better position this time next year

I watched those interviews last night. Watching Cohen's, his head was down all the time and he just looked dejected!

As for Perch's interview, I found it quite funny. He went on to mention that they've just been spanked to which he goes on to say ' the 1st goal was rubbish, the 2nd goal was rubbish, the 3rd was rubbish, the fourth was a good hit by the young lad and the 5th was rubbish!'

Then what made me chuckle was his response to the question of how the team respond on Saturday. He paused for a second, then started to say 'well we've got to put this at the back of our minds and train hard all week and focus on the wolves game where w'll be looking to pick.............

Then a pause, instead of saying 3 points, he changes it to say ' looking to put in a good performance'!

What worries me is that none of them look ready to get the job done. Watching BD's interview as well, he's starting to wind me up! Whilst I agree that the players need a good talking to after a dreadful result, as a player at such an important time in the season, they need confidence restoring in themselves. The only messages I get from BD is that he rams into them how shite they are!

I think it's understandable for the players to look dejected after losing 5-0.

Especially after they had beaten Reading and Preston prior to the match.

I think Cohen's like that in all of his interviews though. He probably doesn't like being on camera.

Agreed, He's not exactly gonna look pilled up after getting smashed 5-0
