Coach to Watford

Does anyone know anything about coaches going to the game tomorrow because my mate has bailed on me and left me with no other option. Do you just turn up or do you have to book in advance? Would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me out. Can't miss out on this game.

You have to buy a coach travel ticket.... which I think you have to buy in person from the Ticket Office (I've never noticed the option to buy one online).

The Ticket Office stops selling match tickets at 12-noon tomorrow, so that might be the deadline for coach tickets also.

Also a bit weird how the coach leaves at 2:30pm ... surely, even on a coach, Watford is no more than 3 hours away???

Yes, but they are including a mystery tour for free.

I am annoyed the coach leaves at 2.30, as I finish work at 4 :(

Still me and a mate are making a day of Burnley away now :)

You need to buy a coach ticket in advance, at the ticket office - its £12.50

Ditto, travelling from work in Farnborough. Are you going up by car (if so where are you parking?) or by train?

Believe me I have had this discussion with Mick (the organiser of the Travel Club) but there are, apparently a lot of people who like to arrive evry early so thay can have a walk around.

We were in Cardiff at 1210 but found a great pub, had a cheap meal (2 for £7) and had a quiet drink with the local fans, so I must admit that I am not averse to arriving early myself.

It is kind of different on a Saturday though, isn't it, I know I am more inclined to 'make a day of it' on the weekend.

For me, it is specifically annoying that it is 2:30pm. If the coach left at 3pm, I could get out of work on my flexi.... but when it's 2:30 I have to use half a day's holiday.

That's spooky, I'm travelling form work in Farnborough (well Blackwater technically).... to the M3 then up via whatever Andover red is driving!

Thanks but have sorted a pick up, from Steve, (Andover Red), at about quarter to five from the Sainsbury's near the M3.

Will bear that in mind for other games in the future though. If you see Rice 7 wandering round one of the pubs - probably the Weatherspoons - near the ground, come over and say hello.

Perhaps he should say G'Day?
