Just reading some of their forums and some of them really are deluded.

Thought we could keep the best ones here.

My fav so far...

"I think forest played more hoofball than us, that Centre-half Morgan is absolutely useless."

I was more highlighting the fact that he think Wes is "absolutely useless"

Now they are trying t pick holes in our home form...

"We all seem to think that they have this fantastic home record. OK they haven't lost many but, after taking into account the couple of losses and draws, about 48% of the wins have been by one goal and 17% by 2 goals - total of 65% of the home games. They have only won 4 games by 3 goals and have two big scores 5-1 and 5-0. So they are not the goal machine attacking force moaning Billy would have us believe. We've got a 1 goal start and if we play to our strengths and potential this game is very, very winnable."

Only won 4 home games by 3 goals..don't know how we have put up with it all season!

It is our destiny to keep the whole of the East Midlands massive in the Championship. First you then Fester.

Thats my favourite so far.

Edit: New favourite, taken from a thread names "Chris Cohen"

Anybody think he could do a job for us next season if we were to get beat at Wembley ?

Both teams did a bit but they did way more than us! They forced us to play the game their way, we got out muscled a lot. Not feeling confident for Tuesday......:(

I dunno, I think it's all too easy to visit another forum and cherry-pick some moronic comments. I imagine there are probably Blackpool fans doing the same over here.

Not pointing out we haven't lost in 19 games since they undeservedly beat us 1-0 in September and have won 17 of them.

No-one ever claimed for us to be a goal machine at home (even though practically 2 goals per games is mightily impressive) but our defensive record is phenomenal only 5 goals conceded in 19 games and only one meaningful (Bristol City's last minute equaliser back in November).

I think in a roundabout way they're not far off on Wes Morgan. He has had a good season, but he gives away too many stupid fouls, and lumps the ball too often to really be looked upon as being capable of stepping up another level. I thought Kelvin Wilson illustrated yesterday why he has the greater potential to succeed in the game. He just played absolutely beautifully and kept it composed. He can genuinely pass the ball over short and long distances. There's always this feeling about Morgan that he bumbles from one thing to another, whereas with Wilson he's seamless and beautiful to watch. Longer-term, I wouldn't mind pairing Wilson with somebody who is a step up from Morgan. Not that I expect that to be a popular opinion on here of all places.

I can't believe how much Kelvin Wilson has improved this season. He was my choice for player of the season.

Morgan is solid and dependable. He gets better each season for me and they're a brilliant partnership.

Wes still needs to improve his direction on headers

Absolutely right mate - after Sheffield United last season, many of us thought Kelvin had played his last game in a Forest shirt.

But something, be it the player himself, or Billy's coaching team (or a combination of the two), or maybe he's started having three Shredded Wheat for breakfast, but Kelvin has been unrecognisable from the player of last season.

His reading of the game has improved, his distribution has improved, he has always had the pace, but he seems to have added so much to his game, and is so much less prone to the reckless challenges that characterised his play.

To me, he makes a perfect foil for the much-more physical "Big" Wes Morgan. If you look at great Centre-Back partnerships, you always have a physical, clear-it-out defender, and a more cultured, ball-player.

To me, Wes is the physical presence, and Kelvin the ball-player. And together they make a fantastic pairing. They are (not that I'm biased) the best Centre Back pairing in the League. How Kelvin didn't make the Championship team of the season puzzles me!

Whilst obviously a few octaves lower, their partnership is similar to Chettle/Walker back in the day.. one no-nonsense dude with aerial ability and and a huge willingness to put himself on the line, and another with pace and composure. It can be a good mix.

Totally agree Wils has had an awesome season.

Vidic and Ferdinand, Terry and Carvalho. Every great partnership has a tough tackler who's good in the air and one clever ball-player.

lets hope billy puts all the messages from paper/blackpool fans forums etc and see how more up the lads will get.

if blackpool fans think this or that show the message to players, the lads will be more up for it then already are.

We should photocopy the attached, blow it up to poster size and get Billy to pin it up in the dressing room on Tuesday night..........

They had been placed on all of the cars parked around Bloomfield Road during the game and I picked it off my windscreen afterwards.

Their centre back Evatt is one of the biggest Donkeys in that position in the championship. Not fit to tie Morgan's boot laces.
On paper I think only Adam and their two full backs would get into our squad.
The forecast for Tuesday is ok ...wind only 5mp. If we get the ball down and play it we should win. I would start with Boyd on the left and bring Tyson on for the last 15 mins and ,if needed extra time when his pace could tell.
I doubt Cohen or McKenna can last 120 mins as they faded on Saturday. This is a concern if the Moose is still unfit.
