lol that bench really could have come from ANYWHERE in the back offices, especially as they sold the same desk at xmas...there are a few more to go..infact about 4 or 5 at least, so look out for more "cloughies desks" being sold ! and hearty congrats to the person who bought it.

No one at the club have got the brains to do that.
We are talking about the club that don't sell club match tickets when England U21's play, a club that had no boys home kit on the opening home match of the season and a club that is only just sending out a renewal pack for season tickets.
They may have a licence to print money but they don't seem interested in doing so.

Cloughie's desk...

I've had the following question from a mate of mine down in London. I haven't a clue (in general, and with the question). Anyone shed any light please?

Ayup lads, I've just found out that a mate's boyfriend, a young lad called Paul, who hails from West Ham but happens to be an avid Forest fan
has just bought Cloughie's old desk - the "original" from the City Ground - on Ebay. He won't tell her how much he paid for it but he says it's more than £500 and less a grand.

Did anyone see it on Ebay or know if it's legit. There must be a few 1970's Cloughie desks knocking around, no?

He possibly is correct that he does have it. I have the carpet from his office. They were re-doing it once he had left and were throwing it all out.

I think it sold for in and around £670

Since found out that it did go for £670, and it was indeed to this youth down in East London. My mate has got back to me with his story as to why some kid from West Ham would pay out £670 for Cloughies table, and I thought I'd share it with you as I thought it was great:

He's absolutely over the moon about it; all of his family support West Ham or Spurs and when he was a nipper he asked his granddad who he should support - as he didn't want to support who his dad or brother supported - and his granddad said "Son, support the Forest, Cloughie's a genius." So he did and has followed them ever since.

Good lad, with an even better grandad. Deserves to get it for a bargain price.
