With the club announcing that tickets in the home end are sold out and Derby hopefully selling their allocation out. What is the most spectators that the City Ground can hold? Late time we nearly sound it completly was againest Man Utd in Feb 1999 with a total attendance of 30,025 but that was 10 years ago. So in 2009 what is the top capacity with safety regualtion in place that the City Ground can hold?

I'm fairly certain it was full on May 3rd last year, not sure about away allocation though.

The A-Block had a load of seats removed around five seasons ago to make room for police. Also, the lower Cap One corner can't be used because of the amazingly placed brick wall.

I think our top capacity is 29250, although we have more seats than that :)

Will the front of the A Block be open??

I never know whether that's always empty because the tickets there don't sell; or if the club simply don't let people sit there?

Tickets are always on sale in the whole of A Block (except Row T) its just that people don't generally buy tickets down the front till they have to.

The further forward you are the more likely you are to be up and down like a yo-yo as the stazi make their way up the stairs with their war cry of "Sit Daarn"

The ground can hold 30,602 but that's taking all the corporate seats and executive boxes in to account too.

You'd never actually get 30,602 in to the ground 'safely' though (in the eyes of the over the top H&S).

Are Forest allow to remove that wall in the Bridgeford end? Or is it a major supporting wall?

It holds my seat up, so no!

The seats with no visibility were part of a scam to give us a sufficient theoretical capacity to host Euro 96 games.

It was 28,520 against Yeovil last season.27,909 was Forest fans because 591 was the amount Yeovil fans.

we had the segregation netting between the fans against yeovil because forest fans were in lower bridgeford aswell! so it should hold more than that. :)

don't see why block T or whatever it is, in lower clough isn't open because if you watch the 3-0 against derby at home ;D on youtube they let forest fans then! and lets be honest football violence was worse then :(

can anyone find out the attendance for the 3-0 game? ;D

56.659-1 o something like that

it will have nothing to do with demand, it will be on safety grounds, both are sell outs.

I was in Florida. They print results out there but a day late after they happen. Me and dad thought it must have been a misprint. Just glad we were out of the country!

Nothing to do with H&S mate, it's the Police who determine exactly how many seats have to be taken out of the total capacity for each game...

Well he bothers because he's told to. Same as anyone does anything in their jobs, because they;re told to.

If he doesn't do wha he's told to, then his supervisor will tell him what he should be doing. If he still doesn't do it, then he'll be told off by his supervisor. If he still doesn't do it, then eventually he'll get fired.

That's why he bothers.

Well the by that half the stewards in trent end should be sacked as theres allways people on the back row stood!

Well, more than half of the stewards at the CG should be sacked for being rubbish at their jobs anyway...

True...
Also can anyone clear this up.... the stewards in lower bridgeford, are they ours as such or are the brought in by the away teams!
