Can someone please calculate the points we would have had, if we take out his goals from last year.
Far fewer, but in fairness, the same question can be asked of a lot of teams that have decent seasons. Can someone please calculate the points we would have had, if we take out his goals from last year.
He really should be in the position to negotiate with his international manager to ease back a bit for the sake of his professional and international careers.Just like other kiwis, Wood shouldn't be able to fly any more. Certainly for meaningless friendlies.
Only if they can also substitute those for goals which would have been scored by a different striker to compensate, otherwise it's meaningless. Can someone please calculate the points we would have had, if we take out his goals from last year.
That's effectively the scenario this season, the answer to which is the square root of f*** all.Only if they can also substitute those for goals which would have been scored by a different striker to compensate, otherwise it's meaningless.
I get your point but it isn't quite that simple, strikers tend to thrive on confidence so nobody else could be used as a comparison last season as no one else, quite rightly, fo a look in.That's effectively the scenario this season, the answer to which is the square root of f*** all.
Last year we only had Awoniyi who couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo.
Except for the striker that has actually scored five goals so far. Fair enough, he could with one in the premier league. That's effectively the scenario this season, the answer to which is the square root of f*** all.

He isn't in the squad for their friendlies this month.Just like other kiwis, Wood shouldn't be able to fly any more. Certainly for meaningless friendlies.
Good, but it would be mad if he was. He hasn't kicked a ball in a month. He isn't in the squad for their friendlies this month.
I blame ange for anything bad still occurring at NFFC, left over from his too long 39 days of tortureI’m blaming Ange for seemingly rushing him back. The twat.
And for anything bad that happened prior to his tenureI blame ange for anything bad still occurring at NFFC, left over from his too long 39 days of torture
Absolutely. And I'm sure that SD can't wait either. I've seen conspiracy theories about his absence thrown about here and there, and I can't help but laugh at the idea that SD doesn't want one of his favourite players at Burnley to be back and firing. Pretty sure they'll have a fruitful collaboration here as well. Can't wait for this man to return.
I'm absolutely loving the threat and service that Hutchinson is providing on the right but it always feels like it's almost for nothing as the lack of presence and instinctive/experienced movement in the box isn't there.
Wood will thrive off the Hutchinson service.
I've not seen any of the conspiracies. What are those mate?Absolutely. And I'm sure that SD can't wait either. That’s just a slightly different way of saying Jesus hasn’t scored in the PL yet really. But I agree we need him back. The only of our strikers to score a PL goal since Awoniyi's tap-in against Wolves on January 6th. We need him back.
100%. He would have had a field day today. It does feel somewhat concerning now on the injury front for Wood, though. Can't wait for this man to return.
