Came over to the fans at the end of the game at Lincoln for autographs, a chat and some selfies with fans.

Amongst a lot of dross, it's so good to see a guy acknowledging we're all in it together.

Happy New Year to Chris Cohen, who wore his heart on his sleeve every game through many up and down seasons.

11 years at the club showed his commitment to the cause, and he retired here too.

Cheers to him tonight. Will always miss his all action style in midfield

We haven't had one like him since have we. Just full on every match and always matched it with the talent he had as well. The 09/10 - 10/11 years he was so effective for us & could have made the step up in my opinion.

You talk about leaders but the thing I loved about Cohen was he would always lead by example in a similar way Roy Keane did.

You know my eldest daughter is approaching that age where she's going to start bringing boys back and so you never know what's going to happen there

But if she brought someone like our Chris back I'd be well chuffed

But if she brought that Tom Lawrence back I’d be like OY! LAWRENCE ! NO!

Careful what you wish for….

I mean Prince Andrew was probably viewed as a decent lad and a bit of a catch at one point. Then he stopped sweating!

They wouldn't make it back and your daughter would be in the way to hospital in an ambulance.

If he bothered to call an ambulance. She might be left in the back of Lawrence’s crumpled range rover.

Proper modern Forest hero.
Yes,I agree.
Chris Cohen is probably my favourite Forest player of the past 20 years-we would certainly have been relegated
straight back to League 1 without his efforts in 2008/9(when he was by far the best player in a relegation
dogfight).

Posted this before elsewhere but met a bloke who was related to Chris at my mate’s wedding and he told me Chris had turned down at least two moves to the Premier League while he was at Forest. One was Bolton, I can’t remember the other.

I love the bloke. If it wasn’t for those knee injuries he could’ve been even more of a hero, but loved everything about Chris Cohen.

They don't make players like Cohen much anymore. Committed, loyal, humble..

My favourite player this century. Absolutely up there with many of the bigger names in terms of a Forest legend for me, purely for what he gave to our club.

Looks like he will be assistant manager at Soton following Nathan Jones from Luton.
He'll deservedly get a good reception when he returns to the City Ground I imagine. Absolutely brilliant servant to this club.

I assume he'll be putting his house in the Park (Rudd) up for sale then, hope I win the euromillions on Friday

Given the typical shelf-life of Football management, he might want to hang on to it (it is a very nice property, in a lovely location).
