chris cohen did almost a lap of the pitch applauding the fans. i dont know how to take this with the current transfer sepculation over his future, is it him showing his comiitment to the club, or is it him saying goodbye to the fans????

He does similar most weeks.. it did cross my mind too but was assured it's not unusual for him to linger longer than the other players :)

yh but he was out there when everyone else was long gone off the pitch, or maybe the transfer speculation has warped my mind.

He does the same every single week.

Absolutely right; he always runs over and applauds the lower BC (where I sit) before the game, and always makes a point of applauding all four stands after the match!

He's just a dude.

He was man of the match today - Lee Camp deserves the plaudits he's getting, but he had *nothing* to do in the first half. Cohen worked his arse off for the whole match today.

It's players like him that really make a difference when you're down to ten men.

it was a tense game and I think he was showing his appreciation to the fans for staying behind them and not turn in g on them like we would of last year.

I thought the same at our last home game last season when he was linked with Newcastle, but nothing happened there obviously. He always does it and he's not going anywhere.

Honestly the drama's that get made on here :D

Cohen is always the first player to come over to the fans and the last to leave, and it's always been that way since he joined. He just appreciates the dedication fans show, that's all :)

He loves the club. As does Luke Chambers.

Another thread where people read into something far too much.

As people have said, he claps the crowd before and after pretty much every match.

Chris Cohen, after the final whistle today, just ran off the pitch with his head down and never even acknowledged the fans. Obviously he's had enough at Forest and will be off to Bolton on Monday.

If Cohen does go and Shoreys not extended/bought does that mean Lynch back at LB?
