I like him as a player but I'd be annoyed if we signed him for £1.5million. It was widely known in the summer that he was available for 300k and he had already proven himself in the championship on loan with Blackpool.

They paid 500K, an offer of 1m profit in less than a year might persuade them.

A player like Adam would be ideal for Billy, so there is sense in the rumour. He knows McKenna would struggle next season, whether in this division or the one above, and would not likely be able to play all the games, therefore he needs an understudy in to learn from McKenna and take over from him.

Given Moussi's injury problems so far, he cannot rely on him, therefore a solid central midfielder around the 25 years old mark would be one signing Billy could go for.

Charlie Adam would be a good buy , Blackpool made a bargain when they bought Adam for only 500k but then Holloway is a fairly astute manager , his first signing for plymouth when he was made manager there was Ebanks-blake for only 300k.

If true he would be a very good buy, he can cross a good ball into the danger area and he scores as well, would fit in perfectly!

Apparently Holloway has said he'll have to consider any good offers for his players.

£1.5m may be a bit steep, but he's not long signed for Blackpool, so will be on a long contract. It's probably reasonable considering the scenario. (whenever I read the word 'scenario' I always imagine Roy Hodgson saying it, he has the funniest voice ever)

All in all, i'd be happy with him. He's a good midfield who can play on the left and through the middle, with a very good left-peg. 8 goals in 21 starts this season.

i heard some whispers about this one yesterday, aparently forest scouts were at derby on boxing day and he ran the show.

would love him here.

Adam is exactly what we need, creativity and guile on the left hand side of midfield. We would have a very powerful looking attack with him in it - sign him up.

Commons was consistant... consistantly injured and consistently shot from 40 yards into the crowd when a simple pass was on.
