No surprise really. Adebola does well away from home - it's McGoldrick you need to worry about. I feel he'd be better on the right where Garner gets lumped to be honest.

Adebola and Garner up front for this one!

Blackstock will have a rest, I'm sure. Possibly Earnie too.

I'd be tempted to give Ando a rest too but against his old team? Maybe not.

I'm thinking a midfield / forward line of:

McCleary---McGugan---McKenna---Ando--

-----------------Majewski-----------------------

--------------------Dele----------------------

Which still looks pretty decent.

There's always one pessimistic pillock that knows more than a professional football manager. :w**ker:

He's only saying anything to put the shits up Swansea. You could almost guess the best team now so he just wants to keep them guessing.

Starting Adebola might be a good thing - play him for 60 minutes and then bring on Earnshaw or Blackstock. Playing against tiring players this could well be a master stroke.

do you think he's considering leaving mckenna out? will the wee man will be driven into the ground being 30 playing 90 minutes 3 times in a week?

Nah , McKenna is the cornerstone of our current team , he's not being left out.

However , iF billy still keeps Chambers as right back and Gunter as right wing , i think he's suffering more than just flu , he needs to have his head check.

i totally agree, but read his quote:

"I've got a big decision to make because this is our third game of the week

what other changes in this thread can be described as "big"? he's been chopping and changing his strikers all season?

Why would you not start probably one of our best players ? Where is McKennas place ?

Why start Garner ahead of better strikers on form ?

At some poing Garner should get a go up front (where he belongs) all the other strikers have had a chance this year. Garner is class..

i'm not saying that's my preferred team, i'm simply stating that billy says he has a "big" decision to make to ensure no fatigue in the team. he's been chopping and changing strikers all season so changes there can hardly be classed as "big", the back 4 picks itself, so what other "big" changes could be made to the midfield?

You are taking Billy's words too literally , he will make changes that's for sure , it just won't be mckenna.

I can see Garner back for this and someone giving Trundle a hard time, maybe enough to frustrate him into kicking out.
Earnshaw on the bench, Lynch also. Cohen to continue in midfield.

You're not giving Camp a rest and putting Smith in goal then?

I'm suprised at you.

I wouldn't give anyone a rest, ever.

Smith will get his games in on the way to the FA Cup final

'Tis the season!

That's the exact side I would pick as well, with the option of shifting cohen to the wing and Tyson going up top running off Blackstock.
