Wes missed a clearing header, then Chambers fell over. S'all there is to it really.

Wes missed quite a few headers today.

He did,but he recovered afterward's and played like quality.

Can you tell me how you came to these conclusions about players performances by watching a 30 second clip on SSN ?

I think he went to the game too.

Although by suggesting he played quality, it does seem unlikely!

Just thought as he stated he seen the highlights and asked what was his defending like. Maybe he was there and was out taking a piss for the 15mins Chambers was on the pitch lol.

I think that might have been unfortunate.
Unless you support County.

I thought Chambers had a mare. Came on at half time. Was he not subbed 20 mins later? He slipped for their second. Saying that they did saturate the pitch at half time. The spriklers were doing overtime.

I mentioned to Forests stewards supervisor, who looked like Mel Hackett, but its about 20 years since I saw him. He had come over to help organise the Forest fans. He was screaming at the County stewards "get that f~#king gate open, you've got an half empty stadium and our lads can't breath". Which was true. Don't alarm bells start ringing when they allocated 8000 tickets for one area and they sold 12000??? No seat numbers on tickets. Shambles.

I did go today,as usual.He made 2 mistakes today for the red's.Fortunate 1 cost a goal.

He cost us to goals, as Winnits pointed out to me he dog shit marking for the header as well.

I really dont rate chambers, he is a decent/good league 1 player.

There has been talk of us not needing a new centre half due to chambers being in his natural position.

LMAO. If that was his natural position we REALLY need a new centre half.. or two. Wes is no more than ok, Wilson too. Why we didn't get Jones is beyond me. Scunthorpe got him! Yesterdays defending -as it has for the past 4 seasons- worried me.

I agree, we need someone who can command the area and make a header or two. The last one we had that could do that was Dawson and weve struggled since.

Wes has got the game in him, but he needs to be told constantly what to do or how to handle a player. Wilson tried to command for a while but all is screaming at Bennett last season didn't make him stay back, so he has no respect.

I believe he got subbed due to a head injury

What gate?

Who couldn't breathe?

It was a bit busy, but hardly Hillsborough.

I like Chambers but unfortunately he doesn't have the height and pace like Wilson, or the strength like Morgan, which you could do with either of to become a very good centre back.

Physique wise, he is more suited to right back. Likewise, Perch doesn't have the physique to be a centre back either.

Hey lets not get on Chambers back just because he had a bad performance in a meaningless pre-season knockabout.

He played a blinder in Portugal, and we were all saying he looked good with Morgan at CB.

The jury is still out on him at CB. We do need to buy a CB because of Breckin's departure, but who knows, Chambers might have his best season at CB, and we could enjoy rotation at that position.

He was very good at the back end of last season too.
