chambers the only fit defender!!!!

Well Bennett did OK at Centre Back, let's hope we can keep him fit at least!

Bennett would have been sent off last night if it were a league game.

Probably true; it was at the very least a booking, although he protested he had got the ball. Difficult to see from my seat (Lower BC) if he had got the ball, the man, or both.

He did get caught for pace a couple of times, but it's probably better having him there than nobody.

Gomis, the Lyon centre-forward, certainly looked a handful though - he's a big lad!

Is Joel Lynch ever not injured?

I think it's become a situation where Lynch in a fully fit state, is still injured in one way or another.

I don't know about chambers being the only fit defender, gunter isn't too bad looking is he?

Am I the only one getting a bit worried by the lack of appearances from both Morgan and Wilson? Surely we wouldn't be stupid enough to sell both, i know its highly unlikely but even if that isn't the case, with no match fitness they're going to struggle fitting in to the squad and performing come the start of the season.

in your opinion, not in mine thought he was totally shit and didn't have a clue!

It amazes me how the club have got their selves in to this situation yet again , absolutely pathetic!

We barely had any defensive cover last season, we were exceptionally lucky with injuries at the back so we got away with it. Looks like our luck has run out though.

I really fear for us at Burnley is we go there with a makeshift back 4 and Smith in goal, I think we could be looking at a hefty defeat :(

Put Moussi at CB! I think he could do a job there, he is very similar to how Wes was and still can be, in being very clumsy on the ball etc. but his heading, tacking is very good at times, not too sure about his positional play but hey.
