Cardiff Ticket

Afternoon all,

I just had a quick request about Cardiff tickets...

Basically, I live in Loughborough but work from London and ordered a ticket for the Cardiff game to be sent to my house in Loughborough. My misses then posted it on to a mate of mine in Cardiff who I'm staying with. However, the ticket has got lost somewhere in the post and so I'm travailing up to Cardiff tomorrow night ticket-less and it seems that away fans can't buy tickets on the day.

So....does anyone have a spare ticket they don't need for the Forest end for Saturday? I really don't fancy sitting in the home end with a bunch of Welsh around me! The ticket that is currently lost somewhere in the Royal Mail network is a student ticket, but I'm happy to pay for an adult one if there are any available.

I would if I could but I'm working from London today and tomorrow and heading across to Cardiff on the train on friday after work.

Have you tried phoning the ticket office and explaining to them what has happened?

If not, may I suggest that you do so quoting your client reference, your name and address as they should have a record of the tickets having been bought. I'm not sure of the protocol in such a situation but I'd say that the tickets never arrived at your Loughborough address and leave out the forwarding bit.

It's worth the trouble of a phone call and if they can re-print the tickets and send them to you at your Cardiff address, there's a chance that you'll receive them first thing Saturday morning. It might just save you the trouble not to mention the cash.

That's not a bad idea. I'll give it a go tomorrow, it's certainly worth a try!

Because you had them re-posted they may be inclined to see it as your fault.

It might be worth telling them that you haven't received the ticket at all.

They won't post out any tickets now at any rate, but they may send one over to Cardiff for you.
