so we've had enough coverage this season so they wouldn't pick tomorrow's game even after Tysongate but they will show our game against Cardiff? Cnuts

Yup. I also find it bizarre that the BBC want to show Cardiff -v- Forest AND Forest -v- Cardiff

But they won't show either of our games against Derby?

I wish theyd picked an away game

I wish they'd picked any game but this one.

I'm out that evening for the wife's 40th. Normal kick off time and I'd be home for 6, ready to go out at 7. No way that's going to happen now. Once again TV companies f*** up my plans.

I'm in Ireland for this, so hopefully it means I can see it now. :)

They get the BBC on terestrial in the Rebublic don't they? Or is it just RTE?

Although it's good to see Forest back on the box...Why pick this game and know one at all show's Derby vs Forest tomorrow a guaranteed ratings winner?
Especially being a season ticket holder cos i'll be there anyway but couldn't get a ticket for the sheep game....spose it's sour grapes on my part
Just reading through what i just wrote and im not sure it makes sense  so make of it what you will! :nowink:

Good to see us being picked for the BBC again, but a very strange choice of game.

Forest 2nd in the League, Cardiff 4th.

Both teams flying, on the back of 5-0 and 6-0 victories respectivly.

One month before the end of the season this could be a promotion decider.

It's about as suprising as the sun rising in the morning really :)

What else do people watch on a bank holiday Monday? Now we can be the entertainment

I'd rather watch Forest vs Cardiff than Newcastle vs Leicester,
and surely thats the reason why Forest vs Derby isn't being shown

I got a ST so will be seeing this game anyway.. I wish they picked an away game so I could watch an extra game this season.. f*** knows why they didn't chose the D**by game, I know it'll short notice now but they could of arranged it months ago.

In fairness it is a game against the sheepshaggers, just the Welsh variety ;D

Atleast everyone will hear us calling dave jones a peado and hear him cry bout it after the game again :D

It will be on BBC2 with Lee Dixon & Leroy Rosenior joining presenter Gabby Logan in the studio (It's been a while since we've used that!)

Also, it sucks that the Leicester-Coventry game got to be on BBC1 and both of our BBC games are on BBC2..

I hope that f***ing nob head at least remembers the name of our team this time.

Lee Dixon is way better than most other BBC pundits. He's intelligent and yeah, he might have got our name wrong, but it's not a crime. It doesn't bother me hugely, because a lot of people don't even realise we 'hate' being called Notts.

Dixon's insights are actually very good. Same with Rosenior.

and I'm sure that Dave Jones will handle it in the same dignified manner as he did last time when asked about the moronic chants based around unproven allegations from the intellectually challenged section of our crowd!

I've got to admit that, though a bit wrong, the chants of "are you Glitter in disguise" were the funniest thing I've ever heard Trentside.

The game was chosen a few months ago to be aired, since the BBC probably isn't paying anything near to Sky Sports for coverage, Sky will probably get the pick of the games every time.

It may not be a crime, but surely its somewhat un-professional for a BBC football pundit not to use the correct name for the teams he's talking about.
