Just looking at the table and the positions have made me think..

Cardiff are in automatic place at the minute and Swansea are in the playoffs, both players are big characters at their clubs.. Why would they of wanted to come to forest anyway!?!?

Because Mark Arthur said they wanted to come.
 
Because of being near to the Broadmarsh Centre and the juice bar there.
 
Because at the height of the rumours, we were last positioned in 3rd, Cardiff 4th and Swansea 7th
 
I think Whittingham has signed a new contract now with Cardiff, at the time he was refusing to, so I would say he never wanted at the time to stay with Cardiff.
Pratley has not signed a new contract, as far as I am aware so I would go as far as to say he, at this moment, does not want to stay with Swansea.

I also seem to remember that both clubs hinted at at letting the players go for the right price at tht time so really you could say that neither club wanted the players either... so to speak.

Only ourselves to blame for everything that has happened at NFFC.

We could have had them and messed it up, like we messed all of the summer and last Jan... and will mess the upcoming Jan and summer up!

They deffo wont come to a mid-table club with no ambition now...

I would like to see us move on to players like C.Austin / R.Lambert now, take a risk and could hold massive rewards!

I dont know what you mean my Saturdays were never complete without a trip to Fashion Floor and Wimpys

the manager at wimpy's looks like kermit the frog.... used to love having a fry up there, with the curled up sausage with an egg on top.

I cant believe its still there , Ok my memory is not so good but walking in from the bus station at the bottom you had Birds on the right sainsburys on the left zodiac toys on the left carry on up to superdrug and games workshop turn the corner mainly clothes shops carry on until you get to the turn off to C&A and tehn carry straight on until you get to boots and argos upstairs only had wimpy Jonathan James and fashion floor the rest was shite.
 
Still more or less the same. Substitute Sainsburys for Wilkos and C&A for H&M and that's about right. :D
 
Well, they are renovating it all at the moment - half of it is boarded up. An improvement! :yes:
 
And does the subway at the side still smell of piss and you hold on to your wallet for dear life. ?

It'll be the Broadmarsh with extra polish. They initially intended to knock down and start again, but deliberated for years and then last year suspended any development because of the 'current retail climate' - now they're doing cosmetic improvements with the intention of the long term 'knocking the shitheap down' plan still going ahead.

As long as that awful sixties monstrosity is still standing alongside Collin Street, then it'll continue to blight the good city of Nottingham!
 
The Broadmarsh Centre is one of the leading shopping malls in the western world.
