Hi all,
As you all know there is a decent looking game on tomorrow at 12:45. Just wondered where most people going to bristol tomorrow will be watching? Not been to Ashton gate before so any tips on a good pub with the said game on will be a big help.
thanks in advance.

If you want to watch that there are lots of bars in Bristol city centre which will show this game but you wont be allowed in wearing a Forest shirt! They are quite strict on shirts. There are a couple of pubs for away fans nearer the ground (Pump House and Nova Scotia) but i can't remember if they have TV screens or not.

If your going to make the effort to get there early enough to watch the game, then found out ahead of time which pubs have the game in 3D.

I can't see it lasting (or at least becoming something we watch every game in) but it could be quite something to see the first ever 3D match :)

Ive had a chance to see a few clips at work, and it does look quite cool for a one off thing.

Eddie - are you meeting us at one of the above?

Thought the Pumphouse looked better when I googled them but they look pretty close together on the map.

Did you go to both last season? Which would you recommend?

Obviously we need to hook up with you at some point to get the tickets but it's reassuring that you won't oversleep like Ali usually does!

I wouldn't say that Liz, i've slept through my alarm twice this week lol

The 2 pubs are literally yards apart. I think you just walk over the bridge from one to the other. We went to the one on the southside of the river nearest the ground - i cant remember if that was the Pumphouse or Nova Scotia though.

I still dont know where my mates parents are planning on parking or what time we'll get there. Ideally we'll end up having a drink at one of the above as they are closest to the ground however my mate used to live in Bristol and would probably prefer a few beers in the centre with his mates :( I'll be in touch tomorrow when i know whats happening

They did one a month or two back, I'm sure.

Er...... someone ought to have warned Wenger & Ferguson then....

Yeah, but wasn't that just on the Sky 3D channel with dodgy red and green glasses, not in pubs on the big screen with the new better glasses?

I could be wrong, but everyone seems to be making such a fuss over this. One of our local pubs actually has a countdown to "3d football"
