Bring a scarf to hold up tuesday

When we play the home leg on Tuesday it would be awesome if EVERYBODY could make an effort to bring a scarf to hold aloft while we sing City Ground. Just thinking about it makes me feel choked up. It would be an amazing sight and the noise would be tremendous. It would look great on telly. It could be so important for the players to give them a massive adrenalin rush. You redsssss

There are a small group of us that sit in the BC lower. I sit with Jonny and his dad as well as my niece. We take pride in being the ones that started it and every week we have noticed more and more doing it. Just doing it for one night if you never do it again would be brilliant. Hopefully it will be just one of many memories to recall of tuesday night . The atmosphere will be electric ,the singing will be loud and the scarves will be waved.

just spread the word, not too hard...

great attitude...im guessing ur old and pessimistic (wise)!!

Yeah, welcome to the forum. Thats a good way to introduce yourself!

No im not old, 27 (thats no too old). If you look at the original poster, he said EVERYONE (and yes it was in capital letters to emphasise the point).

My point is that there will be a lot like me, who will be out drinking during the day around the pubs, and there is no way people are going to be carrying a scarf around with them! And just spread the word is not that hard. OK lets play pass on the message to 28k reds lol

Im all for it and it would look good if a lot of people did it, but not EVERYONE will do it

It would be a nice gesture if the club gave a few 1000 out before the game to generate a sea of red and white. Not tacky shitty t shirts like Derby.

I'd love to take part in something like holding up scarfs.

Hold up Tuesday?
Is that the day after 'shoplifting Monday' :D

I always pull the scarf out of the bag in time for the keychange. Will persuade Flagman's Dad to do likewise. I recall Celtic fans doing the scarf thing on cue and it was awe-inspiring.

I hope this catches on, I really do. :)

Celtic always do the scarf thing when they sing the Fields of Athenry.

It would be great if we could it too.

I always wear my scarf, but I don't want to look like w**ker Liverpool fans, personally.

My lucky scarf was coming anyway :)

Same here. Considering Forest have won every game I've brought my famous lucky scarf to imn the last two seasons and the last time I didn't bring the scarf, we lost. I really don't have any choice. If I don't bring it and we lose, I will irrationally blame myself for ever.

Amen. Don't be grumps and hold it with pride. Who gives a shitwhat Liverpool do. I'm pretty sure Derby fans cheer when they score - should we stop that?

I'll have to buy a scarf Tuesady, Altho, After all the effort the Forest Fans are making, it would be nice for the club to meet us half way with something for once!!!
