BRF - barnsley fan back again

Just got back from my trip to Derby.

They really are a shit house side that deserve to play in the ale house leagues.

We played them off the park for ninety minutes and Clough Jr. even admitted as much (Clough Snr would never have allowed it). How we didn't score I do not know - one of those days. We really did drop the points.

They deserve to go down, and Lilly Savage was particularly poor today.

I watched for your result - couldn't believe that you let one in. Norwich managed to bag a point off Birmingham - i didn't see them getting that.

This is going to the wire, and imho nobody is safe yet from Watford down (although in all likelihood Watford, Derby and Blackpool are likely to be unless the wheels fall off). From what I saw of Derby today, they could drag themselves back into it properly.

we can but hope!

It will go to the Southampton game at home for us. 90th min Earnie pen to keep us up ;D.

I've heard you have the hardest run in of fixtures. But then none are easy at this stage of the season.

I'm a bit of a Watford fan at the moment, in that case!

nah, we have a few winnable games left and six points to find out of eight games i reckon. Don't get me wrong - we are far from safe - but we're not in the most difficult position of the teams fighting it out.

Plymouth and Barnsley need to go down, not us.

I reckon it's Charlton, Southampton and one other. I think we can agree amicably that Plymouth would do for the third team. ;D

I'd be sad to see Plymouth down actually, I quite like them. Have no particular quibbles with Barnsley either.

Perhaps we could agree on Derby as a mutually acceptable team to get improbably hauled back into the mire?

I actually quite like the teams ( have a few friends who support the likes of Plymouth/Charlton/Norwich and you guys) around us and in most cases its a good away trip compared to a Burnley,Preston from our POV.

Its those at the top I'm not too keen on but sadly 3 have to go and well ofcourse I have to be selfish.

IF Derby went down they would not sign Ellington though which would be bad for us... ::)

We could really do with Derby being drawn back into it leaving all the "real" clubs in the Championship ;D. Not the Derby "franchise" that it seems to be becoming sadly...

I think it will be Plymouth, Charlton and us. Playing Barnsley will be our decisive moment, we'll probably beat Sheffield U and lose to Brizzle. Southampton are a last day survival specialist outfit. We'll probably have to win by 6 goals and get 7 but concede 3.

To the Barnsley Chump, i think you'll find the Florist fans have seen us pan them 4 times this season, so even though we were poor today, granted, they know how much better we are than them, they don't need you to tell them how good we made you luck today, can defo see you puddings going down. To be honest i'd prefer you to Florist to go down and has you mentioned the word s hit, i think everyone who's ever been to Barnsley will agree, your 1 horse town is a proper s hit hole.

Constructive as ever.

What happened to superam? Last time I saw him he seemed a decent guy, now he seems to have gone on an internet power trip, at the end of the day we are all humans, no need to act like a cock just because the internet serves anonymity and we support rival teams.

Calm down mate. It's only a bit of banter.

superam showing that he is only able to give a bit of wind up to youngsters, Barnsley fan pops on here and he does his nut. True colours now, showing can try and give but cannot take.

Troubled about the youngsters he aims for though...

A packet of sweets and a cheeky smile

I'm sure you have many packets of sweeties in your car for your trips to the park sledgy

To be honest with you mate I cannot see us going down. I think overall looking at the results we are (aside from Watford) beating most sides around us. I think/hope we beat you in the six pointer and I think there are 4 winnable games from the remaining 7 we have those being Barnsley, Coventry, Blackpool and Southampton those I see as the must wins and I think even looking to the likes of Bristol as potential points after seeing them play us at their place. Sheff utd we will just have to hope for the best!

As concerning as it a new striker and injury free 6 games should keep us on course for survival.
