Brennan Price Johnson

Nottingham's dirty secret
Yeah, still not having the Elanga is better and Brennan wouldn't get in our team nonsense, some folks were telling me the other week.
Happy for the lad, hope he manages to get himself a big move out of it at the end of the season.
That's if we'll have him.

Great to see Johnno kicking on.
I watched the game on telly, and he was one of the best players on the pitch.
Spurs are starting to use him right... at last.
Yeah and solanke is a bit like awoniyi and create space for him, it has helped him kick on. On spurs forums some still can't bring themselves to say they were wrong even after 5 goal run

Hopefully playing himself into a move to a better club. Spurs fans don't deserve him.
To right, looked at their forum, some were still moaning after the 5th goal, they seem to have finally shut their pie hole after the 6th. On a side note, I think solanke has had a big impact in his upturn in form, he keeps the defenders busy and let's johnson play, we may be missing that side of awoniyi game as he seemed to have that same effect on elanga. Johnson and elanga don't really beat players like odoi can

Took my Roma supporting self down to watch the game at Spurs last night and was interested to see how Brennan was getting on to boot. Thought he did well and it was interesting to be able to watch him more closely than you are able to when at the whim of a tv producer. I think his movement has come on significantly since he left us, the dart across the box he made to score his well taken goal was very nice. When he was here he didn’t really make those horizontal runs and stuck to the vertical ones towards the pot on his side. He definitely seems to be developing as a player and it’s nice to see him coming along. I thought at one stage just after the move he might be a one trick pony who couldn’t kick on but he seems to have found himself a bit. Got pelters when he first went there but seems the locals are finally warming to him.

Also, that stadium. Wow.

Sauce salad?
Spent more time flailing around on the floor yesterday than anything else. Disappointing.
Another way of seeing it was that he got a twinkle toed megs on Murrillo to set up one of his (and spurs) three big chances.

Only threat they had other than that Son free kick, and we can thanks Sels that he didn't get a couple.

I would be reluctant to take Brennan back, but I would like us to buy
solanke.
He'd fit into our set up brilliantly.
He looked unhappy yesterday.
Nuno would put a smile back on his face.
I thought a lot of their lot didn't look quite right - possible that they dislike Angeball too and are going through the motions of sacking him off?

Great for what we needed to get and keep us up, think he's found his level at a mid-table side like Spurs though tbh, not sure he's of the European caliber required to play at a better club going places like Forest.

A stagnant club like Spurs was always the safer bet. Will always appreciate him giving us the leg up to where we're going now. He'll be a notable footnote on our future great history.

It was only a little over 18 months ago we lost 2-0 at Villa, were staring relegation in the face and fans were berating Brennan for looking disinterested...not to mention Jonjo Shelvey...

He did have a habit of going awol for long periods.
